Source: VarietyVariety reports that Randy Orton will star in WWE Studios' The Marine: Homefront. No word when the movie will be released, but production begins on June 11th in Vancouver. The movie will be distributed by Fox straight-to-DVD and will eventually air on the WWE Network.
WWE will have an exhibit up at WrestleMania Axxess this week where fans can read part of the script of The Marine 3.
The movie will be directed by Scott Wiper, who directed WWE's The Condemned with Steve Austin. In The Marine 3, Orton plays a Marine who fights back after his daughter is kidnapped by a radical militia.
