Report: WWE Involved In New $30 Million Movie Project

WWE Studios and IM Global are partnering to produce a new $30 million movie project, "Dead Man Down." The movie is described as a romantic thriller according to a report by Deadline.com. The cast of the upcoming movie will feature Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper. Farrell plays a crime lord's right-hand man who is seduced by Rapace's character in a scheme to exact retribution.

Principal production for the $30 million movie project will begin this Monday in Philadelphia. Director Niels Arden Oplev who directed "Rapace" and the Swedish version of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo," will direct the film.

WWE Studios President Michael Luisi announced that WWE will be involved in co-financing the project.
