Bobby Lashley Loses MMA Fight, New UFC Contenders Emerge, 'UFC On FOX' Fight Highlights
- James Thompson defeated Bobby Lashley via unanimous decision in the main event of Super Fight League 3 in India this morning. Thompson is best remembered for sporting the nastiest cauliflower ear in history in a losing effort to Kimbo Slice at an EliteXC event on CBS in 2008, which was the first MMA event to air in primetime on network television in the U.S. With the loss, Lashley falls to 7-2 in his MMA career, while Thompson improves his record to 18-14. - Nate Diaz and Johny Hendricks emerged from last night's UFC On FOX event as the next contenders for the UFC lightweight and welterweight titles, respectively.
