- At one point WWE had around 50,000 people watching their Over the Limit pre-show on YouTube this evening. I you missed it, Zack Ryder lost to Kane in the pre-show match.

- WWE's website ran an angle during tonight's Over the Limit pay-per-view where the Board of Directors denied a last minute appeal from John Laurinaitis to lift the stipulation that any Superstar who interfered in his match against John Cena would be fired.

- Some of the WWE terms trending worldwide during tonight's Over the Limit pay-per-view were Big Show, John Laurinaitis, Christian, Tyson Kidd, This Is Awesome, Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, The Miz and Beth Phoenix, among others.

- WWE Champion CM Punk wrote the following after defeating Daniel Bryan at Over the Limit:
