WWE SmackDown Recap With Tons Of Video: New #1 Contender, Sandow, Bryan, Show Explains

Welcome to this week's WrestlingInc.com WWE Smackdown Recap.

The show begins with a video recapping the storyline with Big Show ending with him knocking out John Cena. The opening video runs and here we go. The show a video of Sheamus running into John Laurinaitis on RAW and a graphic asks if he is going to apologize tonight.

Lilian Garcia introduces the executive administrator to Laurinaitis, Eve. She comes to the ring and gets a small Ho-ski chant. She says Johnny is still in charge but not here tonight due to an international business trip and she is in charge. She is going to deal with Sheamus. He will have to apologize and she is going to name his opponent at No Way Out. Alberto Del Rio's music hits.

He calls her beautiful and smart and says she knows that he is the best opponent for Sheamus. He gets in the ring and continues to give her compliments. He says to make Johnny proud. She says he is deserving and Randy Orton's music hits.

He comes to the ring and introduces himself to Eve a la Del Rio and tells her he's going to let these people help her in the decision making process. Of course the fans side with him. He says she has her answer. Kane's music hits.

He also gets in the ring and says that neither one of the men has his qualifications. He says that pasty white Irish ghost Sheamus has to face the devil's favorite son. He says if she knows more convincing, tonight's episode number is 666. The crowd pops Eve says the only way to settle it is to have a triple threat match. Her music hits and she leaves.

We go to the announcers and they talk about Christian's return and show stills from his Over the Limit match. He is introduced as returning to SmackDown and enters the arena.

Christian vs. Hunico

Hunico's music is playing as we return. Camacho is at ringside along with the lowrider. They lock up and Christian gets the upper hand. Hunico regroups in the corner. Christian hits a back bodydrop and Hunico rolls out of the ring. Christian follows with an attempted sliding dropkick that Hunico avoids. Camacho hits Christian with a clothesline. Hunico flies through the ropes and tackles Christian by the announcer's booth.

He throws him back in and continues to put the boots to him but Christian recovers and hits a couple of slams. He goes up top but Hunico catches him and they exchange some near falls. Christian goes up top again and flies off with an elbow to the face of Hunico. Christian looks for the Killswitch but stops to dropkick Camacho off the apron. Hunico tries the Angle Slam but Christian reverses into the Killswitch.

Christian eyes the turnbuckle and hits a Frogsplash off the top for the win.

Winner by pin: Christian

Cody Rhodes' music hits and he comes on the stage. He says he spent 8 months 257 days he spent his time wiping the dirt of the Intercontinental Title and restoring it to prominence. He says Santino held it and he's a joke. He names legends that have held it. He says Christian ruined it. When he gets his rematch it's only going to take 3 seconds to get it back. Cody's music hits again and Christian lays the belt on the ring in front of his feet and invites him in with a smirk.

The Uso's music is playing as we return and they are in the ring as well as their opponents. We see footage from earlier in the day of the two teams making fun of each other's dances backstage.

The Uso's vs. Darren Young & Titus O'Neil

Titus starts off with Jimmy, I believe and the Uso's make some quick tags in and out. Young distracts from the outside and Titus takes over and tags Young. Titus and Young remain in control. Jey makes the tag and Jimmy cleans house. He hits the running Stinkface but Titus breaks the count.

Jey and Titus mix it up on the outside as Young gets a Superkick by Jimmy in the middle of the ring. Jimmy goes up top and is distracted by Titus which allows Young to push him off the ropes. Titus tags in and they hit their double team legdrop for Titus to pin him.

Winners by pin: Titus O'Neil & Darren Young

Titus and Young do their dance in the ring as Cole cheers them on commentary.

We go to the ring and two local guys say they know Ryback has beaten 2 guys before but not at the same time. Ryback's music hits and his pops are getting bigger.

Ryback vs. Brian Edwards & Kevin Bendl

Ryback has a black eye and a busted blood vessel in it and he looks extra menacing as he makes his way down the ramp. Some people chant Goldberg and Ryback hits signature powerbombs on both men and lifts them both at the same time on his shoulders and delivers his marching Samoan Drop and covers them on top of each other.

Santino makes his entrance. We get a video of his interaction with Ricardo Rodriguez from RAW. Santino puts his cobra on Lilian's shoulder.

Ricardo's music hits and he comes out introducing himself in Spanish and rolling his "R's" extra long. He is in his tuxedo.

Santino vs. Ricardo Rodriguez

Ricardo puts up his dukes literally and goes for a lockup but he puts his hand on Santino's hip instead of shoulder which Santino laughs and corrects. Santino puts him in a headlock. Santino toys with him some sends him into the ropes. Ricardo leapfrogs him and starts running the ropes back and forth. Santino just stops and watches him like a tennis match and waits for him to tire. Ricardo finally falls down.

Santino picks up the winded Ricardo and checks his pulse. His puts him on his shoulders and gives him and airplane spin. Ricardo can't stand up and Santino mocks him and comically stumbles and falls out of the ring. Santino sneaks up from behind Ricardo with the cobra and gets the pin.

Sheamus' music hits as we return and he comes to the ring. He says he was sent out to apologize to John Laurinaitis but you shouldn't have to for accidents. He says at worst it was accidentally on purpose. He takes a deep breath and pauses. He starts to apologize but he can't. He finally says he apologizes for Johnny being a massive arse. He says Eve and Otunga are up his arse along with a 7 foot giant arse kisser.

Sheamus says if he had his way he would face Orton at the PPV. Vickie Guerrero interrupts. She gets major heat from the crowd but it only makes her more annoying as usual. She says Eve has just informed her that Sheamus must face someone right now. She can barely be heard over the crowd as she announces Jack Swagger.

Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger

They mix it up and Swagger's wrestling skills come to play. Sheamus is able to duck Swagger and start to mount offense. He hits a battering ram off the top for 2. Swagger goes out to regroup, Sheamus follows with a clothesline and brings him back in. Vickie distracts Sheamus on the apron and Swagger clips his ankle and Sheamus falls out and holds his ankle.

Swagger works the ankle in the ring. Sheamus finally pushes him off with his feet. Swagger won't let up in the corner, he misses a clothesline and Sheamus hits neckbreaker. Both men struggle to get up. Sheamus hits a flurry of axehandles and forearms in the ropes. Swagger ducks a Brogue Kick and shoulderblocks Sheamus' left leg and hits a splash the corner. Sheamus kicks out of a close near fall. Swagger is unable to execute a gut-wrench powerbomb and Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick for the pin.

Winner by pin: Sheamus

Yoshi Tatsu is in the ring and we see a video of Damien Sandow beating him up last week. Sandow's music hits. He begs our indulgence for one moment. He calls the fans unwashed masses. He gets some heat and he asks them to please remain silent while he's speaking. He calls Yoshi an ignoramus and says he is going force his lesson upon him physically for the benefit of everyone.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Damien Sandow

Yoshi attacks Sandow immediately in the corner and Sandow ducks out through the ropes telling the ref to do his job. Sandow takes control with 2 moves and pins him.

Winner by pin: Damien Sandow

Sandow has the ref to raise his hand and he does a cartwheel.

-WWE Rewind: Show knocking Cena out

Show's music hits and he walks out in a suit, sans jacket. He sits on a stool in the ring and pauses for some boos. He says he loves his job and didn't know how he was going to support his family and he could barely breathe. He starts to get angry and says nobody cared or came to his defense after all he's done. They chant you sold out. He says he did not sell out. He found out he had no friends and he is alone in this world.

He says then he got a call. The crowd chants for Cena. He says Johnny said if Show helped him he would get his job back. Show explains their plan as it unfolded and his state of mind. He says the people never cared about them and he doesn't care about them. He leaves the ring as Kane's pyro hits. They look at each other as they pass with Kane looking over his shoulder a couple of time after Show had left.

Daniels Bryan attacks Kane with a steel chair as he enters the ring. He hits him about 20 times as he screams 'yes.'

Alberto Del Rio drives up in a Phantom and Orton is introduced.

#1 Contenders Match:
Randy Orton vs. Kane vs. Alberto Del Rio

Kane and Orton mix it up after Del Rio is tossed out. Kane hits a big boot. Kane whips Orton in and hits a clothesline. Orton hits a big boot and a neckbreaker. Alberto comes back in and takes in to Orton. Orton clotheslines Alberto out and Kane does the same to Orton. They fight on the outside. Orton brings Kane back and goes for the DDT in the ropes but Alberto kicks him in the head.

Kane stomps Alberto then takes it to Orton for a 2. Bodyslam on Orton from Kane for another 2. Alberto targets the shoulder of Kane. Alberto puts the boots to Orton in the corner. Orton dropkicks him out of the ring. Orton whips Kane in but Kane drop him with a sidewalk slam for 2. Kane goes up top but Alberto kicks him in the head and Kane goes tumbling to the outside. The Viper ducks a punt from Alberto and hits some right hands and clotheslines. Kane comes in and Orton powerslams him then clotheslines him out.

Orton hits the DDT in the corner. Orton coils up. Orton goes for the RKO but Alberto shoves him toward the ropes and Kane pulls him out, sends him into the steel steps. Kane goes up top but Del Rio ducks it and goes for the cross armbreaker. Kane counters and hits a chokeslam. Daniel Bryan runs onto the apron. Kane chases him out. Kane goes to get back in and Bryan distracts him again. Orton hits the RKO on Kane and pins him but Del Rio punts him in the head and gets the pin on Kane.

Winner by pin and #1 Contender: Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio gloats on the stage and is attacked from behind by Sheamus. Sheamus congratulates him off mic and says he looks forward to kicking his head off. Sheamus stands over him with the title on his shoulder.
