Despite Hogan's tweet, he remained listed on the promotion's website for the show. The promotion had been advertising that Hogan would be making an appearance -- not that he would be wrestling -- for months. Northeast Wrestling stated on their Facebook page that they have a signed contract with Hogan to appear at the event, and were working to resolve the issue.
Hogan wrote on his Twitter this afternoon that he would in fact be appearing at the show, provided he's medically cleared.
"Now that everything is completely clear like it should have been from day one,I will release the following statement regarding NE Wrestling," Hogan wrote. "I will be in Fishkill,N.Y.on Sept 22nd for a meet and greet only for Northeast Wrestling only if I have my doctors clearance, update soon HH"
