- As noted earlier, The Great Khali underwent surgery last week in Pittsburgh to remove a pituitary gland tumor that's caused his enormous size, which is the same condition that Andre the Giant had. ABC reports that the condition was discovered through WWE's Wellness Program.
"[A]s part of WWE's ongoing wellness evaluation, we are happy that The Great Khali (Dalip Singh) had successful pituitary surgery, and we look forward to him returning to the ring in the near future," said WWE spokesman Adam Hopkins.
