Former "The Real World: Hollywood" contestant Joey Kovar passed away last Friday at the age of 29. The reality star passed away after battling drug and alcohol addiction for several years, and had appeared on the "Celebrity Rehab" show.

TMZ reports that Kovar had dreamed of joining TNA, and even joined up with the POWW (Purely Obsessed Wrestling World) independent promotion in 2010. The organization mentioned Kovar's passing during their event in Fox Lake, IL last weekend, stating, "Everyone has demons and addictions ... we need to support each other to help people overcome them."
