Byron Saxon is in the ring and he introduces the competitors in next week's NXT Gold Rush Final: Seth Rollins and Jinder Mahal. Byron asks Rollins what this opportunity means to him. He says all he ever wanted to do was hold a WWR Championship so this means everything. He talks about being a kid and being lost but then finding wrestling. He says there is no way he is leaving and not be the NXT Champion.
Mahal is asked the same question and he begins by answering in his native tongue. The he says that Rollins sounded just like all of the fans: "A born loser." He says becoming the 1st NXT Champion is his birthright. He gets "What?" chants. Rollins begins to retort but Mahal hits him with a cheap-shot in the kisser and they scuffle. Rollins tosses him out and hits a plancha splash through the ropes. Rollins celebrates in the ring as refs come out and escort Mahal off.
