WWE NXT Recap - Gold Rush Final: Jinder Mahal Vs. Seth Rollins

Welcome to the WrestlingInc.com WWE NXT recap.

The opening video is shown. Tonight is the Gold Rush Final.

Jason Jordan & Mike Dalton vs. Hunico & Camacho

They show the video of Dalton pinning Camacho from 4 weeks ago. Dalton and Jordan start strong against Camacho. Hunico gets in a kick on Jordan from the apron and they take over. Hunico gets 2. Hunico and Camacho make quick tags and stay in control of Jordan.

Jordan hits a dropkick to escape and make the tag to Dalton; Hunico tags-in as well. Dalton comes in with quickness and intensity. He hits a hurricanrana on Hunico for 2. Dalton connects with a dropkick from up top but the tag is broken by Camacho. Camacho interferes from the apron and gives the assist for Hunico to hit an Angle Slam on Dalton. Camacho holds Jordan's leg to prevent the breakup; Hunico gets the win.

Winners by pin: Hunico & Camacho

We go to break.

The Uso's are introduced. They talk about their unfinished business with the Ascension. The lights go down and The Ascension appear in the ring and ambush The Uso's. We go to break.

Big E Langston vs. Chase Donovan

Langston literally runs-over Donovan and drops him for a two-move win.

Winner by pin: Big E Langston

We go to break.

The NXT locker room comes out on the stage. We go backstage for an interview with Big E Langston; he just huffs and puffs.

Howard Finkel introduces Commissioner Dusty Rhodes who grabs the NXT Championship from the stage and enters the ring. Jinder Mahal makes his entrance followed by Seth Rollins.

NXT Championship Gold Rush Final: Jinder Mahal vs. Seth Rollins

Finkel makes formal introductions. Rhodes shakes Rollins' hand but Mahal refuses to shake it. Seth goes behind and takes Mahal down. Mahal takes a cheap shot on the break and puts the boots to Seth. Seth shows nice agility with some dropkicks. Mahal slams Seth from the apron to the floor. We go to break.

Mahal is in control in the ring. He continues to work Rollins over, slowly taking him apart. Mahal hits a high knee for 2. Rollins gets to the ropes to avoid a Camel Clutch. Rollins fights back with punches and kicks and knocks Mahal down. Mahal misses with a knee in the corner and falls out of the ring. Rollins goes up top and flies off with a crossbody on Mahal. Rollins sends him back in and goes up top again but Mahal meets him and hits a superplex. We go to break.

They trade shots in the middle of the ring. Mahal hits a slam for 2. Mahal goes for a full nelson but is unable to get it locked. Rollins hits a kick and flies-in off the apron with a knee for a 2. Rollins hits a Superkick but only gets 2. Rollins misses with a corkscrew moonsault and Mahal capitalizes but only gets 2. Mahal goes for the Camel Clutch but Rollins rolls through. Seth tosses Mahal in the corner with a powerbomb and connects with the Blackout for the pin.

Winner and FIRST NXT Champion: Seth Rollins

Dusty congratulates Rollins and they embrace in the ring. Rollins celebrates and the locker room hoists him up on their shoulders. Rollins celebrates in the crowd.
