WWE Live Event Results From Sydney, Australia (8/31) - Cena, Punk Vs. Bryan, Laurinaitis Returns

The show kicked off with Brodus Clay facing Jack Swagger. Naomi was with Brodus, no Cameron. Swagger got some good heat, but Brodus went over pretty quickly.

Next up was a divas match. WWE Divas Champion Layla defeated Rosa Mendes.

WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Kingston beat Primo and Epico in a solid match.

The Miz defeated Alex Riley to retain the Intercontinental Championship. The Miz got the most heat of the night.

Zack Ryder defeated Tensai. Zack Ryder got a huge pop.

Santino defeated David Otunga.

CM Punk beat Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE Championship in a fantastic match which lasted about 25 minutes. CM Punk worked as a babyface and was massively over. "Yes" chant all throughout the match as well.

Cena defeated The Big Show and John Laurinaitis in the main event in a typical Cena/Show match. After the match Laurinaitis attacked Cena with a chair, but Cena turned around and hit him with an AA to finish the show.

Overall pretty decent show.
