Paul Heyman Paired With CM Punk, Jack Swagger Note

WWE Champion CM Punk helped Alberto Del Rio defeat John Cena in the main event of tonight's RAW. After the match, Punk attacked Cena, kneeled down over him and said, "Respect." Punk proceeded to get in the passenger side of a waiting car, where Paul Heyman was revealed to be the driver.

We reported last month that the Punk - Heyman pairing had been pitched to Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. The alliance allows Heyman to remain a television character while Brock Lesnar sits on the sidelines.

Also on tonight's show, Jack Swagger told RAW General Manager AJ Lee that he was taking some time off after suffering a loss to World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. We noted in that same report last month that there was talk of pairing John Laurinaitis with Swagger. Laurinaitis made several appearances during the RAW brand's tour of Australia, which concluded over the weekend.
