News From Last Night's Big NEW Independent Show, Video Of Hogan And Piper Segment

The big Northeast Wrestling event in Fishkill, New York last night saw between 2,000 and 2,300 fans in attendance. The outdoor event was pushed up to avoid an incoming rainstorm but a few matches into the card, a huge storm hit.

NEW moved the pre-show autograph signing to 2pm so fans could get through and meet Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and others. They also did an early interview segment with Hogan and Piper. A lot of fans left after that segment since Hogan was the big draw and the show was focused around him.

Matches of note saw Hacksaw Duggan and Bill Carr defeat Mr. TA and Jake Manning, Rosita and Madison Rayne defeat Velvet Sky and Angelina Love, Vader defeat Tony Nese, Matt Hardy beat Sami Callihan plus Goldust and former NY Yankee Joe Ausanio defeat Luke Robinson and Romeo Roselli in the main event.
