Lots Of NFL - WWE References Following Controversial Game
- There have been lots of WWE - NFL references following last night's controversial Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks game. As we reported earlier today, the terms "Vince McMahon" and "XFL" were trending worldwide on Twitter last night.

- Joey Styles has an article on WWE.com about how replacement referees don't belong in the NFL or WWE at this link.

- The New York Post references Vince McMahon in an article about NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. They ask the commish, "How do you like this fraudulence that your stubbornness and the greed of your henchmen owners has brought, and wrought? How do you like the fact that in the Parthenon of pro football commissioners, you now officially reside south of Vince McMahon?" You can check out the full article here.

- As noted earlier, Skip Bayless mentioned WWE this morning during ESPN's First Take, saying, "I never thought I would see the day when the NFL would turn into the WWE."

- Forbes.com also has an article asking if the NFL is "degenerating into pro wrestling." They wrote that the country "saw Monday Night Football degenerate into a wrestling type brawl of suspect results." You can check it out by clicking here.
