WWE 'Main Event' Recap: CM Punk Vs. Sheamus, Tag Tournament Continues

We're back and we go to CM Punk in his locker room. Heyman interrupts Mathews and asks what else it would take for Punk to prove he's the best. Mathews says that facing Cena at Hell in a Cell might do it. Heyman says that Punk is a living legend.

We go back to Cole and Miz at ringside. Cole puts the show over and says that next week, Randy Orton faces the Big Show.

Cole sends to Striker in the back with the Big Show. Show says next week will be Orton's first and last appearance on the show. Show puts his fist in Striker's face and the camera zooms in on it and Show says it will be the last thing Orton sees.

Cole says the tag team tournament continues next. We go to the ring for Santino & Zack Ryder's entrance and go to commercial.

Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel make their entrance.

#1 Contender Tag Team Title Tournament: Santino & Zack Ryder vs. Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel

Gabriel starts off with Santino. Gabriel holds tight to a headlock. Santino gets out and hits an armdrag. They both tag out. Kidd and Ryder have a nice exchange with Ryder getting the best of things with a faceplant. Kidd tags Gabriel behind Ryder's back and they deliver a beautiful and effective tandem combination ending with a vicious kick to the head. Gabriel makes the cover for 2. The innovative tag team wrestling continues and Kidd comes off the top with an elbow to Ryder for 2. Ryder tries to steal a pin but Kidd reverses with a combination of kicks for 2. Ryder catches Kidd with a double knee and sets up for the Boot but tags Santino before he goes in. Ryder connects and then takes out Gabriel on the outside with a summersault. Santino pulls out the cobra and connects on Kidd for the win.

Winners by pin: Santino & Zack Ryder

We see the brackets for the Tag Team Tournament. Santino and Ryder celebrate in the ring. Cole reminds us of next week's main event and signs off.
