WWE SmackDown Results: Punk Vs. Ziggler, Big Show-Sheamus Feud, Team Hell No, More

Tonight's show starts with the opening theme and we transition straight into Lilian Garcia's introduction of the Big Show. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews talk about Show and welcome us to the show.

Show cuts a promo on Sheamus and shows a video of recent victims of WMD's. Sheamus interrupts and comes to the ring.

Sheamus says he was joking around on Monday but this match is the biggest of his life. He puts his hand out and says, "may the best man win." Show looks at the hand disgustedly and walks out of the ring. Sheamus shows a video of Show losing the title in 45 seconds to Daniel Bryan at TLC last year. Then the footage from Mania and the infamous 18 seconds. Show gets in the ring and extends his hand Sheamus teases a shake and walks out of the ring. We see a graphic for Show vs. Tensai for later. We go to commercial.

We see a promo for Ryback-CM Punk for RAW on Monday.

#1 Contender Tag Team Tournament: Kofi & R-Truth vs. Prime Time Players

Kofi and Young start things off, Kofi hits a thunderous dropkick, gets 2, and tags Truth. Truth does some signature offense and drops a leg for 2. Young drives him into the corner and tags Titus who starts to decimate Truth. Young lands a boot to the face from the apron, behind the ref's back. Titus berates the crowd and tags Young and drops him onto Truth for 2. Truth lands a kick to the face of Young and tags Kofi who comes flying in for some high energy offense. Titus grabs Kofi's foot from the outside which allows Young to drop Kofi across his legs for the win as Titus holds Truth back from the break.

PTP celebrate in the ring and we see a graphic for Ryback; he's in action, next.

Primo vs. Ryback

Primo is in the ring with Epico and Rosa as Ryback makes his entrance. Ryback tosses Primo with ease and drives his head and face into the mat. Primo clips the leg and chops him down to one knee. He puts Ryback in a headlock and gets tosses half way across the ring. Primo slides out of the ring and Epico and Rosa try to take him away but Ryback stops them and brings him back in he has no trouble lifting Primo for the finish.

CM Punk and Paul Heyman ask a stagehand in the back for Dolph Ziggler's room as we go to commercial.

We're back as Layla makes her entrance followed by Alicia Fox

Layla vs. Alicia Fox

Layla takes Fox down early for a 2. They go back and forth and Layla smacks her on her butt and takes her down again for 2. Fox catches her foot and takes her down and works the left knee, then smacks Layla on the butt. Fox continues to contort the knee, she uses the ropes for leverage. Layla makes a comeback, and despite the pain, she hits a roundhouse for the pin.

Winner by pin: Layla

Matt Striker interviews Layla in the ring. She says Eve is going to lose the championship and it's going to feel good.

We go to the back as Punk and Heyman confront Dolph and Vickie. Punk says Dolph left him high and dry on Monday. Dolph says Punk and Heyman did the same to him and they start to insult each other. Punk insults Vickie a little bit. Booker T. comes between the men and tells Punk this is a different show and proposes that they face each other tonight. We go to commercial.

We're back as Wade Barrett comes to the ring, we see an inset promo by him.

Wade Barrett vs. A Jobber

Barrett proceeds to methodically decimate his opponent. He tosses him out of the ring and brings him back in for a Souvenir for the quick win.

Miz vs. Sheamus is next, we go to commercial.

We return to a virtual match between Big Show and Sheamus from WWE 13.

Sheamus is at the end of his entrance as Miz makes his way to the ring.

Sheamus vs. Miz

Miz hits unrelenting strikes early but Sheamus turns the tables. Miz is able to throw him out of the ring and keeps him out with knees. Miz goes out and drives Sheamus into the steel post and gets 2 in the ring. Miz puts the boots to Sheamus and gets another 2. Miz counters Sheamus with a neckbreaker for another 2 and goes back to a reverse chinlock. Sheamus gets his second wind and starts to hit a series of offense. Miz fights him off and hits a dropkick to the legs and a vicious DDT for 2. Miz charges into an Irish Curse in mid air and Sheamus does his forearm in the ropes gimmick. Sheamus hits White Noise and waits for Miz to get up as Show's music hits and he comes to the apron and knocks out Miz and walks away. Sheamus looks confused as Show shows his fist and says, "fun and games." We go to commercial.

We return to David Otunga in the ring. He shows us footage from after SmackDown from last week where Alberto Del Rio attacks Randy Orton and Booker T has to come down to help get him off. Otunga thanks the locker room's behalf and thanks Del Rio. Orton's music hits and Del Rio walks out with Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio does the Full "Orton" entrance complete with posing on the ropes in the corner. Del Rio says Orton wouldn't dare be in the same building as him. He says he is the new Apex Predator. Booker comes out and proposes a match between Del Rio & Otunga vs?Daniel Bryan comes out with his classic "No's," followed by Kane. Bryan and Kane argue in the ring as we go to commercial.

Team Hell No vs. Del Rio & Otunga

Otunga hits an early slam on Bryan and poses. Bryan fights back win No Kicks and a running dropkick in the corner; Bryan starts posing like Hogan. Otunga takes advantage and hits a neckbreaker for 2. Del Rio tags in and puts the boots to Bryan. Bryan drop toe holds Del Rio in the corner and tags Kane. Kane turns things up and gets 2. Kane hits a clothesline from up top and calls for the chokeslam but grabs Bryan's outstretched wrist instead. Del Rio shoves Kane from behind hits a kick to the head for 2. Del Rio tags Otunga who plants Kane for 2. Kane grabs Otunga and hits a chokeslam but Bryan tags himself in and hits a flying headbutt for the steal from his partner.

Winners by pin: Team Hell No

Bryan raises both belts but Kane takes one and they argue.

Eve and Teddy Long argue in office. Long says he did not call for the suspension of Beth Phoenix. Long says he knows Eve had something to do with Kaitlyn's attack and that Booker is not an experienced GM. Booker interrupts and tells Eve to give them a moment. Booker tells him they are both assets and he can't have them bickering. They fist-bump and Booker tells him he has some things to take care of and that he will 'holla' at him later. We go to commercial.

We're back at the end of Big Show's entrance and Tensai comes out sans Sakamoto.

Big Show vs. Tensai

They go at it with strikes and Tensai takes over in the corner. Show hits a massive shot and gets out of the corner. Show uses Tensai's own moment to take him out of the ring and goes out and hits a clothesline. Show brings him back in but misses with the elbow. Tensai hits the splash but comes up empty in the corner and Show hits a spear. Sheamus' music hits and runs down and hits the Brogue Kick on Tensai and walks up the ramp with a smile as Show glares at him.

Winner by disqualification: Tensai

Show roars in anger, in the ring.

We go to the RAW Rebound. We see a graphic for the main event and go to commercial.

We're back as CM Punk makes entrances with Paul Heyman to a sea of boos. It is strange to hear boos when that song hits. Dolph Ziggler is next with Vickie Guerrero.

CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler

They get in each other's faces and argue. Punk pushes Ziggler and he pushes back. They go back and forth and Punk applies a headlock. Ziggler reverses and drops Punk. Ziggler lands a dropkick, Punk goes for a GTS and they go to a stalemate as we go to commercial.

We're back and Punk is in control of Ziggler's back. Heyman raises the title at ringside in approval. Punk hits a side suplex and goes up top but is met by Ziggler. They both punch each other off and to the outside. Heyman checks on Punk and gives him a pep talk. The men make it back in the ring together and trade near-falls. Ziggler hits the Fame-asser for 2. Punk connects with a roundhouse for 2. Punk hits a slam and goes up top but takes too long and is caught by Ziggler and brought down in a slam. Ziggler misses in the corner and falls victim to the GTS.

Winner by pin: CM Punk

Punk gets on the announce table with his title and says he's heard it from Bret Hart, Jim Ross, and everybody. He says he knows what he has to do to get respect. He says for that very reason, he will NOT face John Cena at Hell in a Cell.
