- Kevin Sullivan, author of the WWE Encyclopedia, revealed on Twitter that there has only been 16 title changes in WWE this year. That's the fewest since 1996 when there were just 11 title changes.
- Next week's WWE RAW from Columbus, Ohio will feature suspended referee Brad Maddox vs. Ryback in a singles match. The storyline is if Maddox can win, Vince McMahon will give him a $1 million contract.
Next week's RAW will also see the return of Jerry Lawler on commentary. There has been some talk of keeping the three-man team with Lawler, Jim Ross and Michael Cole but that's not confirmed yet.
