-We go to the Aces & 8's room as Luke Gallows is being scolded for being unmasked. They call him Doc and say he is still a prospect. They tell him he has one week to prove he deserves a seat in the club. Devon tells him that he should team with him against Sting and Kurt Angle. Doc says he'll make it right.
-We go to the ring for pyro and crowd shots. Borash and Todd Keneley are on commentary as they run-down tonight's coming matches. We are 3 days away from Turning Point.
AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode
The bell rings and here we go. They circle each other and trade counters in the middle of the ring. Roode applies a side headlock but AJ gets out and hits a dropkick to Roode who slides out of the ring as the ref counts. Roode avoids a flying AJ but AJ had him scouted and lands on his feet on the apron. Roode pulls him down to the floor by his legs. AJ sends Roode into the steel steps and sends Roode back in for a scoop slam and a flying knee to the head. Roode kicks out. Roode fights back with shots in the corner. AJ trades with him and sends Roode in and follows up with a back bodydrop. Roode begs off in the corner but comes at AJ with strikes. Roode avoids a leaping forearm in the corner and hits a neckbreaker on AJ as we go to commercial.
We're back with AJ in control now. Roode catches AJ on his shoulder and hangs him out to dry across the top rope. Roode hits a neckbreaker for 2. Roode drops an elbow and gets another near-fall. AJ fights back from his knees and backs Roode into the corner. Roode reverses and sends AJ in hard to the corner and gets 2. Roode continues to work AJ over on the mat. Honestly Storm isn't saying anything particularly noteworthy. AJ hits an Enzuigiri to create some space. AJ hits a flying forearm in the corner. AJ launches Roode to the apron but Roode drives his neck across the top ropes as Storm drops to the floor. The action goes to the corner and AJ hits a hurricanrana off the top and gets 2. Roode counters AJ and hits a massive spinebuster. Roode stalks AJ and charges in but AJ sidesteps and goes for the Styles Clash but Roode gets out and sidesteps the Pele. Roode hits a fisherman suplex for 2. Roode goes out and grabs a chair which causes Storm to drop his headset and walking to the ring. Roode drops the chair as he sees Storm and the ref holds Storm back. Roode turns back toward the ring and gets hit with a springboard crossbody from AJ. AJ sends Roode in the ring and yells at Storm to back up. AJ goes for a springboard into the ring but Roode hits the ropes, causing AJ to lose his balance. Roode rolls him up for the win.
Winner by pin: Bobby Roode
Storm and Roode exchange looks and words across the ramp.
-We go to the back where Hogan passes Austin Aries who has the TNA World Title across his shoulder. Hogan tells him he needs to quit pretending he's the champ and that the greatest man that ever lived should be able to win the title not steal it. Aries says he will win it back but he doesn't want it to be in a ladder match. Hogan tells him too bad and if he doesn't hand the title over by the end of the show then Hogan will replace him against Hardy. We go to commercial.
