TNA Turning Point 2012 begins with Taz in the ring and he says he has something important to say. He says he's proud to work for a company that cares about the Hurricane Sandy survivors. Taz introduces Buckethead and Bully Ray to the ring. Buckethead comes out in a suit.

Buckethead thanks TNA, Dixie, and the fans for their support. He says they want to break the Guinness Book Record for most texts during a PPV. He says it's just 10 bucks. Buckethead instructs the fans what to type in their phone to the Red Cross. Bully starts a TNA chant to start the night off the right way.

-We go to the opening video packages for tonight's event.

-We go to pyro and crowd shots. Mike Tenay is joined by Taz and Todd Keneley and they welcome us to the show. The announcers discuss tonight's card. We go to the ring. Christy Hemme introduces Magnus followed by Samoa Joe.

TNA Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Magnus

The ref holds the belt up and the bell rings and they waste no time exchanging strikes. The action goes outside and Joe hits punches to the face and sends Magnus into the steel steps. Joe sends Magnus back in to "Joe" chants. Joe hits shots in the corner and kicks and a flying knee to a seated Magnus and gets 2. Joe ducks a clothesline and hits a flying knee to Magnus and takes him down. Magnus comes off the ropes with a clothesline but doesn't immediately capitalize. Magnus sends Joe in and hits his own knee to the gut.

Joe hits an Enzuigiri in the corner and Magnus rolls out. Joe grabs a chair and throws it at the head of a charging Joe. Magnus takes over in the ring. Magnus drops a knee for only 1. Magnus looks frustrated. Joe catches Magnus off the top with an inverted Atomic Drop and hits a snap powerslam for 2. Magnus goes for a leg scissors but Joe drops him in a powerbomb and applies the STF. Magnus reaches the ropes and applies an armbar to Joe. The crowd chants for Joe as the ref checks him for a submission. Joe counters into a cover and gets a near-fall. Joe hits another Enzuigiri and puts Magnus up top in the corner. Magnus fights him off and goes to the apron for a knee to the chest of Joe. Magnus goes up top and hits a nice elbow drop for 2.

Joe connects with strikes to the head and rushes in off the ropes but Magnus hits a sit-down slam and slowly goes up top. Magnus hits another elbow off the top but still only gets 2. Joe looks dazed as they both fight up. We get dueling chants from the crowd. Joe hits a Rock Bottom to a charging Magnus in the corner. Magnus goes out and grabs a chair but Joe flies over the top with a corkscrew to him on the floor. Back in the ring, Joe sets up for the Muscle Buster and hits it but Magnus kicks out and Joe can't believe it. Magnus tells him to bring it on in the corner. Joe applies a rear choke and Magnus fights but eventually passes out.

Winner by submission And STILL TNA Television Champion: Samoa Joe

-We go to the back and Eric Young shows up to apologize to ODB for not being around lately. He says he has been with Aqua Man. ODB says she's over it and they share a deep kiss. Borash interrupts them and reminds them of their match. We go to the ring for the introductions.

Jesse & Tara vs. ODB & Eric Young

Eric Young and ODB enter after Tara & Jesse. Young locks up with ODB and then Taryn. He runs around the ring like the Ultimate Warrior. The bell rings and ODB starts off with Tara. Tara backs off in fear and tags Jesse in. ODB rolls Jesse up from behind as he kisses Tara and gets a near-fall. Jesse is sent back and forth between ODB and Young from the apron with shots to the head. Young tags in and gets 2. Young hits a dropkick for 2. He tags ODB who comes in and they send Jesse in and ODB delivers the Bronco Buster. Young gets in the corner and wants one also but Tara attacks ODB from behind. Jesse takes control of Young in the ring.

Tara and Jesse make quick tags on Young and keep him away from his corner. Jesse sends Young into the corner but he flips onto the apron and does a Ric Flair strut. Young and Jesse collide with a double clothesline in the middle of the ring. ODB is fired up for the tag and comes in to chase Tara out of the ring. ODB hits a low-blow to Jesse and places Young closer to her corner behind the ref's back and then goes back on the apron for the tag. ODB tags in and is on fire against Tara. ODB hits the Bam but Tara rolls out of the ring. Jesse capitalizes on ODB but Young tags in and after a slam from ODB, Young drops an elbow from the top for the win.

Winners by pin: ODB & Eric Young

-We go to footage of Sting's attack from Thursday and we are told Hogan is with him in Dallas, TX and we will have an update this Thursday on Impact.

-We go to the back with Borash who is standing by with James Storm. Storm cuts a promo about his preparation over the past year for this moment. He says he's winning and "Sorry about your damn luck."

X-Division Championship: RVD (c) vs. Joey Ryan

Ryan enters without Matt Morgan and cuts a promo and says he and Morgan don't answer to anyone. He says Morgan is in the back but Ryan asked him to stay in the back. He wants to make the X-Division x-rated. RVD enters.

The bell rings and here we go. We get an early and loud "RVD" chant. RVD takes him down with a single leg and Ryan ducks in the corner. They reset and RVD hits a body scissors takedown and follows up with a spin kick. RVD hits shoulders and kicks in the corner and goes up top and hits a legdrop. RVD plays to the crowd and hangs Ryan upside down in the corner and hits a baseball slide to his face. RVD hits a monkey-flip but Ryan escapes the follow-up. RVD brings him back in and kicks him square in the face. Ryan pushes RVD off the top and onto the floor.

Ryan hits a suicide dive through the ropes and sends RVD back in for two near-falls. RVD reverses Ryan but Ryan gets his boot up in the corner. Ryan drops RVD on his head with a spike DDT but RVD kicks out. Ryan hits a Mustache Ride neckbreaker off the 2nd rope in the corner for 2. RVD turns it up with back to back clothesline and a kick. RVD hits Rolling Thunder and a standing moonsault for 2. Ryan counters into a jawbreaker and puts his feet on the ropes for a pin but the ref sees it. RVD catches Ryan's foot and hits a kick to the head and flies off with the 5-Star Frogsplash for the win.

Matt Morgan hits the Carbon Footprint to RVD out of nowhere on the stage and lays him out.

-We go to the back to a nervous Joseph Park. He says it's about being a man and he will probably get his butt kicked but he's going in a man and will come out one too.

-We go to an Aces & 8's video package.

Doc vs. Joseph Park

Doc walks to the ring alone through the fans. Park comes down the aisle with no music. Doc glares at Park as the crowd chants, "You can do it." Park looks around nervously. Park goes for a single leg but Doc counters and throws him off. Park ducks a shot in the corner and connects with a slap to the face. Park avoids Doc and escapes to the outside. Doc corners him and grabs a chair and swings but hits the steel post. Park moves again and Doc punches the steel steps. Park runs again and Doc connects with the security rail.

Park sends Doc in and gets hit with a punch to the gut. Doc grabs a chain but the ref takes it away. Doc goes out and grabs the hammer that beat Sting from under the ring and takes it in the ring. Park hits a double leg and unloads with shots. Park grabs the hammer and hesitates which allows Doc to hit him from behind. Doc continues to work Park over. Doc drops a Big Elbow and gets 2. Doc hits a big splash in the middle of the ring for another near-fall. The announcers talk about Sting's attack. Doc tells Park to stay down and hits some ground-and-pound. Park keeps trying to get up.

Doc mounts him with more strikes. Doc waits for Park to get all the way up as Park tells him to bring it. Park unloads with shots and shoulders, taking Doc down. Doc hits an elbow in the corner and hits the steel spiked belt to Park behind the ref's back. Park is busted open. Park sees his own blood and transforms into a madman. Park unloads on Doc and sends him in and hits Abyss' side slam. Park snaps back to normal and makes the cover for 2. Park hits Doc with a chair to the back of the head from the floor and makes the cover in the ring with his back but Doc kicks out. Doc applies a chokeslam out of nowhere and drives Park to the mat for the win.

Winner by pin: Doc

Doc mounts Park immediately with strikes as the ref finally gets him to stop. Doc goes out and grabs the hammer and gets in the ring. He chases the ref out but Bully Ray comes out and chases Doc off. Bully gets in the ring and checks on a laid out Park. Bully helps him up to cheers and applause. He raises Park's arm. Park nods and thanks him.

-Bobby Roode cuts a promo with Borash and he says tonight he will get one step closer to regaining his title.

TNA World Tag Team Championship: Chavo & Hernandez (c) vs. Daniels & Kazarian

Kaz & Daniels are out first. Chavo & Hernandez are out next. We see Hector Guerrero on Spanish commentary. The bell rings as Chavo and Daniels start things off. They lock up and Daniels takes him back to the corner. Chavo speeds things up with 2 armdrags and stomps Daniels on the mat. Chavo hits a hiptoss which brings Kaz in. Chavo hiptosses Kaz and he goes rolling to the floor. Chavo hits a Thesz Press out of the corner on Daniels and hits shots to the face. Chavo hits shots to the face mounted in the corner on Daniels. Kaz comes in and attacks Chavo from behind as the challengers double team and take control.

Hernandez tags in and overpowers Kaz & Daniels and tags Chavo back in. More quick tags from the champs on Kaz. Chavo goes up top and flies off but Kazarian moves and picks it up against Chavo. Kaz tags Daniels in who keeps Chavo in their corner. Daniels comes off the top with Chavo with a measured boot to the face. Chavo fights tries to fight out of the enemy corner but Kaz & Daniels set him up on the ropes and knock him to the floor with a dropkick. Kaz & Daniels do the Gangnam Style dance in the ring. More quick tags from the challengers on Chavo. Chavo hits a Tornado DDT on Kaz from out of nowhere and they both make tags.

Hernandez turns things up against Daniels and hits an over the head suplex from a bearhug and a big splash in the corner. Kaz & Daniels capitalize with a missile dropkick double team behind the ref's back to get control. Hernandez comes off the apron and over the ropes with a double clothesline into the ring. Hernandez cleans house and goes to hit Air Mexico but Daniels kicks him in mid-air from the apron. Kaz and Daniels hit a High-Low but only get 2. Hernandez hits a double suplex and tags Chavo. Chavo comes in with a double missile drop kick off the top. He hits a head scissors to Daniels and a 3 Amigos to both men. Chavo goes up top but Kazarian strikes him down with a dropkick. Hernandez throws Kaz to the floor but Daniels hits an STO lay him out. Hernandez puts Daniels on his shoulders and Chavo comes off the top with a crossbody for the win.

-AJ Styles cuts a promo about not having been World Champion for 3 years and says his quest in the new chapter starts tonight.

#1 Contenders Match: Bobby Roode vs. James Storm vs. AJ Styles

Roode is out first followed by Storm, then AJ. AJ dropkicks Roode and he and Storm go at it. They go back and forth. Storm is pulled outside by Roode and they trade punches. AJ comes flying over the top and takes them out on the floor. AJ and Roode mix it up in the ring. AJ hits a backbreaker on Roode. AJ puts Roode on his butt and hits a big kick to the back. AJ slams Roode and hits a knee to the face but Storm breaks the cover.

AJ slips on the apron after getting launched by Roode and gets knocked to the floor. AJ comes back in and sends Roode in for a back body drop. Storm moves in the corner and AJ goes flying to the floor. Roode and Storm stare at each other and go at it. They trade chops in the corner. Storm hits a fist off the ropes and a neckbreaker for a 2. AJ comes in for a dropkick to Storm's face and throws Roode out of the ring. AJ applies a figure four on Storm but it is quickly broken. AJ keeps Roode from re-entering the ring and resumes on Storm.

AJ applies an Indian Death Lock with a bridge on Storm's chin. AJ breaks the hold and knocks Roode off the apron again. Storm rolls AJ up but he gets out. AJ goes for the Styles Clash but Storm counters and gets 2. Storm goes for the Eye of the Storm but Roode comes in and breaks it up. Roode takes turns stomping both men in opposite corners. Roode gets near falls on both men. Storm hits a double jawbreaker with AJ out of the ring on Roode. Storm calls for his finisher but AJ comes off the top and gets 2 on Storm. Roode comes back in and regains the advantage on both men. AJ fights Roode out of the corner and hits a boot to a charging Roode. Roode throws AJ off the top across the ring. Storm and Roode hit a simultaneous suplex on AJ to cheers from the fans. Storm thwarts Roode with a boot the face and gets 2. AJ is launched by Storm to hit a hurricanrana to Roode up top. Roode hits a neckbreaker off the 2nd rope on Storm for 2. AJ ducks Roode and hits a Pele. AJ and Storm go flying to the outside. AJ springs in the ring but Roode moves and hits a spear for another 2. Roode keeps the pressure on AJ. Storm comes in and hits a backbreaker on Roode and a Last Call on AJ for the win.

Winner And NEW #1 Contender: James Storm

-We go to Aces & 8's in their lair. Devon explains what the brotherhood means to him. He tells Kurt Angle that his beating was just business and he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. We go to an Aces & 8's video.

Devon vs. Kurt Angle

Devon is out first though the fans and Angle is out next. Angle goes right at Devon as the bell rings with intense offense. Devon turns things around and hits a shoulderblock to take Angle down. Devon stomps Angle and works him over from corner to corner. Angle turns the tables and hits a snap suplex and rolls into the cover for 2. Angle hits shoulders in the corner and sends Devon in but he moves and Kurt goes into the post and to the outside.

Devon goes out and drives Angle's back into the security rail and sends him back in for more punishment. Angle tires to mount a comeback as Devon argues with the ref but is shut down. Devon takes too long showboating before he makes the cover and Angle kicks out. Devon charges in the corner and cleans Angle's clock. Angle hits a reverse elbow out of the corner and a missile dropkick off the ropes. Angles turns it up with flying forearms and a belly-to-belly for 2. Devon counters an Angle Slam and hits a vicious clothesline. Devon goes up top but Angle runs up and brings him down the hard way. Angle applies the Ankle Lock but Devon kicks him off.

Devon hits a Rock Bottom to Angle for 2. Angle slips out of Devon's hands and hits a trifecta of German Suplexes and hooks the leg for 2. Devon brings Angle off the top with a powerbomb and gets a near-fall. Devon fights off another German and hits a vicious spinebuster for another 2. Devon goes up top but Angle moves and Devon headbutts the mat. Angle hits the Angle Slam but Devon kicks out. Aces & 8's surround the ring and distract Angle. Devon hits a spear but Angle still kicks out. Angle applies the Ankle Lock and Devon quickly taps.

Winner by submission: Kurt Angle

Angle immediately dips out of the ring as Aces & 8's rush the ring. Doc yells at Angle across the ramp from the ring and says he's next and he's dead.

-We go to the back as AJ is walking, distraught. He is asked what he is going to do now. He doesn't answer.

-The announcers talk about AJ not getting another title shot for a year.

-Austin Aries cuts a promo in the back with Borash. He says Hardy's story will end in tragedy. Aries says he need nobody's support and he will regain his title back.

-We go to a video package for our main event. A Tale of the Tape is shown.

TNA World Title Ladder Match: Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Austin Aries

Aries is out first as both titles hang high above the ring, the ladder is on the entranceway. Hardy comes out next. Borash makes the formal introductions. Aries ducks to the floor as Hardy starts a clap with the fans. Aries gets back in and hits knee on the lock-up and throws Hardy to the outside. Aries goes to get the ladder but Hardy meets him and they return to the ring. Aries gets the 1st-man-in advantage and the action goes back out. Aries sends Hardy into the steel steps and retrieves the ladder and puts on the apron but Hardy attacks and the ladder falls to the floor.

Aries sends Hardy from corner to corner but Hardy hits a head scissors to take Aries out of the ring. Hardy slings himself over the top for a crossbody on Aries and the ladder. Aries and Hardy fight over the ladder and Hardy shoves both into the steps and dives off the steps onto Aries. Hardy flies off the apron to take Aries down again. Hardy takes the ladder into the ring and sets it up under the belts. Aries comes in and climbs up over Hardy's back on the ladder and hits a Russian Leg Sweep to take Hardy down. Aries sets the ladder up between the ring and the security rail and takes Hardy out and drops him across the ladder and flies off from in the ring with a forearm and drops a knee from the apron.

Aries sets the ladder up but Hardy pulls him off and Aries goes face-first onto the mat. Hardy kicks Aries to the outside but Aries rolls right back in. Hardy sets the ladder upside down in the ring. They jockey for suplexes. Hardy flies off the top but Aries side-steps him and sends him into the ladder. Aries springs into the ring from the apron and flips onto the ladder with Hardy inside. Aries sells the move too. Taz does a good job of making it seem extra vicious. Hardy goes to the outside and Aries hits a suicide dive through the ropes. Aries traps Hardy in another ladder again and puts the steel steps on top of it to trap Hardy. Aries sets the original ladder in the ring and goes to climb it but stops and goes to check on him. Hardy escapes under the ring and comes out the other side and climbs the ladder but Aries quickly swats him off and Hardy takes a nasty fall.

Aries climbs the ladder with Hardy underneath but Hardy gets up and they climb opposite sides. Aries hits Hardy off and goes to climb but the ladder is broken so he sets it up in the corner and sets Hardy onto it. Aries hits a running dropkick to Hardy on the ladder. Aries charges in again but Hardy ducks and Japanese Armdrags him onto the ladder. Hardy climbs to the top of the ladder and slowly makes the ladder fall onto Aries. Aries rolls out and Hardy puts the broken ladder on the rope in the corner and retrieves another ladder from under the ring. Hardy sets it up as Aries slowly gets on the top corner. Aries hits a missile dropkick across the ring to Hardy atop the ladder.

Aries puts Hardy behind the ladder in the corner and hits a running dropkick to both. Aries hits a brain buster and tosses Hardy out to the floor and set the broken ladder up in the opposite corner and climbs a good one in the middle of the ring but is met by Hardy. They exchange shots atop the ladder and Hardy hits an amazing Twist of Fate off the ladder. Hardy goes up top and hits the Swanton to Aries. Aries rolls out. Hardy goes up to get the titles but they raise up as he reaches them. Aries yells at ringside and holds up the controls to the mechanism. Hardy goes and gets Aries and throws him back at ringside and gets a super-long red ladder from under the ring. They both climb the ladder and it falls to the one set up in the corner. They stand on top of it like a platform and Hardy hits a Twist of Fate to Aries on the ladder. Aries is laid out outside as Hardy climbs up and grabs his signature title as the bell rings. He stops to find his footing and grabs the other one.

TNA Turning Point goes off the air with Jeff Hardy standing tall in the ring with his title belte high over his head.
