Correction On Indy Wrestler D.C. 'Mad Dog' Drake

We had received a report last night that independent wrestler D.C. "Mad Dog" Drake had passed away. We held off on publishing the story, but finally posted it after ROH creator Gabe Sapolsky commented on Drake's supposed passing on his Twitter.

I received an email from Drake's sister Carlee Stackhouse earlier this evening stating that the story is false. She wrote, "Don is NOT dead. He is alive and well. I am his sister and spoke to him after hear this rumor."

ProWrestling.net reports that she posted a similar message on her Facebook page, writing, "For those who happen to be hearing false rumors, my brother Don Drake, a/k/a D.C. Mad Dog Drake, is NOT dead."

We apologize for the original report and have deleted that article.
