-Hogan and Roode are pissed at the news in the back. Hogan has Aries on the phone and asks what is going on by the end of the night. Roode is beside himself.
-We will hear from AJ Styles after the break.
-We return to more highlights from Final Resolution, this time with AJ and Daniels.
-We go to the ring and AJ makes his entrance. AJ says he demanded this time to come out here and address us. He gets a "You still got it" chant. He says not to worry because he's not going anywhere. He hesitates and ponders and says he doesn't know where he is going. He says this nothing to do with the fans, Impact, or Dixie Carter. He takes off his shirt and says it's about AJ. He is tired of doing the right, corporate thing. From now on, he's going to be doing his own thing. He drops the mic and walks up the ramp as we take another commercial break.
-We return to a replay of the end of AJ's promo.
-Dixie confronts him in front of the trailers and asks, "Who are you?" AJ tosses her his shirt and walks away.
-Daniels & Kazarian celebrate as they watch on a monitor in the back. Daniels is giddy that he sent AJ packing. Kazarian tells him to calm down and that he has a surprise for him.
-Kenny King is introduced to the ring. Rob Van Dam makes his entrance.
Rob Van Dam vs. Kenny King
They lock up and King applies a headlock. RVD fights out and goes behind but King reverses and they put on a mini-clinic. They stop and reset. They answer each other's kicks to the leg. King hits a flying knee to send RVD to the floor from behind as RVD plays to the crowd and follows up with a corkscrew over the top. He sends RVD back in for 2. King hits a huge running reverse elbow in the corner and gets 2. RVD catches King in the corner and drops a leg off the top for 2. King lands a kick and springs off the apron into a blockbuster for 2. RVD moves in the corner and slams King. King avoids the split-leg from the top. RVD hits a kick to the head and lands another legdrop. RVD goes up top but King meets him. RVD throws him off but King rolls though. RVD flies off with a crossbody but King rolls through and lands on top. King puts his feet on the ropes to get the win.
Winner by pin: Kenny King
King dances and celebrates his way up the ramp.
-Bully Ray enters Hogan's office and wants to know if Hogan has had a change of heart. Hogan gets in his face and says Bully's sneaky behavior has made him not change his mind. Bully says maybe Brooke is the one who likes him. Bully says Brooke was apologizing to him for her dad when they were caught sitting on a couch. Hogan says if that's the case then Bully has no business talking to Brooke again. Bully throws his bloody towel at Hogan and says he bled for him. They continue to have a very heated and impressive exchange. Bully says what Brooke does is her business and for Hogan to get over it. Nice segment. We go to break.
