This Day In History: WWE Airs Its First Episode Of Monday Night Raw (Video)

In 1993, WWE TV commenced a revolutionary concept by having episodic programming in front of a live audience. On January 11, the first Monday Night Raw was aired. Over 1000 episodes later, this show continues to be a mainstay in the WWE, conquering the Monday Night Wars battle against the WCW in the late 1990s - early 2000s.
The first episode ended with these results:
- Yokozuna def. Koko B. Ware
- The Steiner Brothers def. The Executioners (Barry Hardy and Duane Gill)
- Intercontinental Championship: Shawn Michaels def. Max Moon
- The Undertaker def. Damien Demento
