ROH Recap: Highlights From Steen And El Generico Ladder War, Jay Lethal Vs. Rhino And More

This week's edition of ROH wrestling was yet another special Road Rage edition highlighting matches from Final Battle 2012.

Jay Lethal vs. Rhino

Before the match starts, Steve Corino takes a commentary position.

The two wrestlers immediately begin attacking each other and head to the outside. Lethal hits Rhino with a super kick, and then goes back into the ring and hits him with a dive. Lethal slams Rhino into the barrier a couple of times and then they go back into the ring.

Rhino starts to comeback with a big Spinebuster. He takes Lethal to the corner and nails some clubbing forearms to the back. He then chokes Lethal on the ropes as the ref counts. Rhino hits Lethal with a body scissors, and then a series of strikes.

Rhino then locks on a bear hug, but Lethal fights out with several punches to the head. Lethal comes back with a big elbow, and then mounts some offense.

Rhino fights off Lethal's strikes and signals for the Gore, but Lethal counters with a super kick. Lethal locks in a Koji Clutch, but Rhino fights out and slams Lethal to the mat.

Lethal hits the Lethal Injection out of nowhere for the win.

Winner: Jay Lethal

After the match, SCUM beats up Jay Lethal.

Adam Cole is then shown cutting a promo about Matt Hardy. He puts over Final Battle 2012 big time.

Mike Bennett vs. Jerry Lynn

The two wrestlers attack each other and Bennett comes out on top. He takes Lynn to the turnbuckles, but Lynn responds with his tilt a whirl head scissor and Bennett flies out of the ring. Lynn then dives down onto Bennett.

Lynn goes to continue the attack, but Maria steps in the way. Lynn goes around her and chases after Bennett, but runs directly into a clothesline by Bob Evans. Evans then proceeds to talk trash into a headset.

Bennett sends Lynn into the ring and attempts a Suplex, but Lynn counters with a pin attempt. He whips Bennett into the corner, but Bennett reverses and hits Lynn with a backbreaker.

Bennett continues his offense with some big strikes. Lynn fights back and hits Bennett's head to the mat. He then punches Bennett in the corner and lands a DDT.

Lynn attempts his cradle piledriver, but Bennett counters with a spine buster. Maria jumps up on the apron and distracts the ref as Evans throws a chair into the ring. Lynn picks it up and does his cradle piledriver on Bennett with the chair. He then throws the chair at Evans and attempts to pin Bennett, but he kicks out.

Bennett then hits Lynn with the Box Office Smash for the win.

Winner: Mike Bennett

After the match, Bennett tries to attack Lynn, but Lynn hits Maria with a DDT and Bennett with his cradle piledriver. Then, some of his farewell speech is shown.

After, the segment where Jay Lethal demands a title shot against Kevin Steen, and then spits in Nigel McGuinness' face is shown.

Highlights from El Generico vs. Kevin Steen Ladder War for the ROH World Title

The finish happens when El Generico brings a very tall emergency fire ladder to the ring. El Generico attempts to hit Kevin Steen with a Brainbuster from the top rope, but Steen counters by slamming him through a table outside the ring.

Steen attempts to climb the ladder, but Generico comes back into the ring when Steen is partway up. Generico hits Steen with a smaller ladder, and then sets it up beside the emergency one. He climbs up and tries to place a smaller ladder between the two bigger ladders like a bridge, but Steen stops him.

Steen then sets the small ladder up and powerbombs Generico onto the smaller bridge ladder. Steen tries to climb the emergency ladder again, but Generico stops him. He then hits Steen with a cradle piledriver.

Generico tries to climb the ladder, but Steen recovers and stops him. Steen brings another ladder into the ring and sets it up like the first bridge ladder, only higher. Generico climbs up after him, and they attack each other on the bridge ladder. Steen hits Generico with a low blow, and then cradle piledrives Generico through the top bridge ladder onto the bottom bridge ladder. Generico falls down as Steen climbs the ladder and retains his title.

Winner: Kevin Steen

Highlights from The Briscoes vs. Coleman and Alexander vs. SCUM for the ROH Tag Team Titles

The finish occurs when after lots of scrambled fighting and broken up pin attempts, Jacobs comes into the ring with a roll of quarters in his fist. He hits Alexander with the quarters and they go flying everywhere.

The Briscoes then nail their Doomsday Device on Jacobs for the win.

After the match, The Briscoes speech where they announce Coleman and Alexander as their first challengers is shown.
