SmackDown Drops In Viewers, WWE Sells Rock's Injuries, Royal Rumble By The Numbers

- TV By The Numbers reports that last Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 1.958 million viewers. The number is down a whopping 60% from the previous week's episode, which drew 3.13 million viewers. That episode, however, featured Alberto Del Rio defeating The Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship, as well as the return of the Rock to the show.

UPDATE: It appears that the viewership numbers from TV By The Numbers were incorrect. PWTorch reports that last Friday's episode actually did 2.89 million viewers, not 1.958 million, which would only be an 8% drop from last week. According to PWTorch, the final rating was 2.03. - WWE posted an article here selling the Rock's beating at the hands of the Shield on last night's RAW. They noted that the Rock tweeted earlier this morning that he will still wrestle this Sunday, but asks if he will be 100%.
