Welcome to the WrestlingInc.com WWE Main Event Recap.

- We begin with the opening intro followed by pyro and crowd shots. We are in Sacramento, CA. Michael Cole is at ringside with The Miz as they plug this Sunday's Royal Rumble. We go the 'Countdown' package that has run in the past few years of numerical Rumble stats. It segues into this year's clips.

- Matt Striker is standing by with Ryback. He asks him how he's preparing for his first ever Rumble match. Ryback says it's his for the taking. Striker interjects with 'devouring,' but Ryback just looks at him and Striker apologizes. Ryback continues that he will start preparing by facing Antonio Cesaro tonight and says he will make "Swiss Miss look like Swiss cheese." He turns and stares at Striker and says he can be funny too and walks off. Striker laughs nervously and sighs with relief.

- Antonio Cesaro makes his way down the ramp as we hear about Miz vs. Cesaro on the Royal Rumble Pre-Show for the United States Championship. Cesaro cuts a promo and says the greatest U.S. champion in history is back on Main Event again while some are just on commentary. Miz basically says touché with a loud, "OOHHH!" and applauds at commentary. Cesaro says his opponent tonight represents everything that's wrong with this country. He says that Ryback is a caveman who yells 'Feed Me More'…the crowd begins to chant and he scolds them in one of his languages. Cesaro continues that all these people feel like they are entitled like Ryback but they are not. I thought he was going in the 'obesity' direction. He starts to give the fans a crash course in manners as he is interrupted by Ryback's music. Ryback comes to the ring as we take a break.

Ryback vs. Antonio Cesaro

Ryback shoves Cesaro back and pounds his chest. Cesaro comes back with a big boot to the head which makes Ryback take a step back but he stays on his feet. Cesaro goes for another kick but Ryback catches his leg and pushes him down on the mat. Ryback throws Cesaro by his head halfway across the ring. Cesaro unloads in the corner but Ryback fights out. Cesaro hits a clothesline out of the corner to take Ryback down for a 2. Ryback Irish Whips him hard into the corner to resume control. Ryback works Cesaro over in the corner; Cesaro creates some space and comes off the top with a nice uppercut and takes Ryback's head off. Ryback kicks out at 2 as we go to commercial.

Cesaro is in control on the mat with a modified Million Dollar Dream. Ryback escapes and comes off the ropes with a Thesz Press and keeps dropping Cesaro on the back of his head. Ryback drops Cesaro in a gorilla press and clotheslines him over the top. The ref counts to seven and Cesaro waves it off. Miz gets up from commentary and tosses Cesaro in the ring; Ryback hits a big back bodydrop but misses with the splash. Cesaro jumps on Ryback with both feet and Ryback kicks out at 1. Cesaro charges Ryback in the corner but Ryback starts to do his thing. The crowd chants as Ryback hits the Meat Hook clothesline and Cesaro rolls out of the ring. The ref counts as Cesaro walks up the ramp. Miz says he's running like a coward.

Winner by count out: Ryback

- Cole informs Miz that Cesaro can do the same this Sunday in their match. Miz says he knows these things and he will beat Cesaro on the Pre-Show this Sunday at the Royal Rumble.

- We return to a shot of the arena as Cole sends to video of The Rock's promo and Shield-beatdown from Monday's RAW.

- Footage of Alberto Del Rio's World Title win from two weeks ago is shown. They show Big Show knocking Zack Ryder out on RAW but the 'WHAT' stuff is cut out.

- Matt Striker is backstage with Big Show. Show says he doesn't have to justify his actions as he bullies Striker. He says the locker room reeks of weakness. He puts his massive fist up to Striker's small cranium and says that nothing will stop him from regaining his title at The Rumble.

- The Uso's make their full entrance to the ring. They get almost no reaction as we go to break.

- RAW Roulette is LIVE from Las Vegas this Monday.

- The Uso's do call-and-response with the crowd as Main Event returns; they are interrupted by Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes, "SILENCE!" says Sandow. Cody says nobody knows what an 'Uoos' is anyway. He says The Uso's are a stepping stone to their title hunt which will end this Sunday. Sandow and Cody want to bring prestige back to the tag-team division and purge it of unwashed teams with limited potential like the Uso's.

The Uso's vs. Rhodes Scholars

Cody starts with Jimmy and Cole knows that for a change. Jimmy takes Cody down and works the left arm in the corner. Jimmy plays with his mustache and Cody goes nuts and goes out for a breather. Cody gets back in and the crowd gets to him as Jimmy puts his own hair across his lip like a mustache. Cody tags Sandow who comes in to 'boos.' Jimmy takes control and tags in his brother. Jey takes over with chops in the corner and Sandow goes out to regroup with Rhodes. Sandow decides to tag Rhodes and he scraps with Jey. Cody lands on his feet off a suplex but Jimmy tags in behind Cody's back and they double team him.

Jimmy gets a near-fall in the ring of Sandow as we return from a break. Sandow tags out but Jimmy stays in control. Sandow comes back in and gets double-teamed. Miz says he plans on winning the Royal Rumble. Rhodes Scholars take control and make quick tags as they work Jey over. They continue to keep Jey cut-off from his brother.

Cody charges in and Jey sidesteps which sends Cody flying to the floor from his own momentum. Sandow throws him back in and tags himself in. Jey leaps and makes the hot-tag to Jimmy who quickens the pace. Jimmy hits a Samoan Drop to Sandow and tags his brother for the tandem finish but Cody pulls him out from the floor. Sandow makes Jey lose his balance up top and makes the cover for the win.

Winners by pin: Rhodes Scholars
