Shelton Benjamin Hopeful For WWE Return, Intercontinental Cup Kicking Off, Recent WWE Attendance

- Shelton Benjamin wrote the following on Twitter when asked about a return to WWE:

"I should hope so. I still got plenty of gas in the tank"

- Next week's episode of WWE Main Event will see Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett kick off a three-week "Intercontinental Cup." The cup will feature Six Superstars competing for a chance to be #1 contender.

- Here are recent WWE attendance figures:

* SmackDown on January 17th in Anchorage, Alaska drew 5,700 fans for $230,000
* RAW on January 18th in Los Angeles drew 11,000 fans for $450,000
* SmackDown on January 18th in Fairbanks, AK drew 3,000 fans for $135,000
* RAW on January 19th in Ontario, California drew 7,000 fans for $255,000
* SmackDown on January 19th in Stockton, CA drew 4,500 fans for $125,000
* The WWE Supershow on January 20th in Fresno, CA drew 6,500 fans for $200,000
