Source: PWInsiderWe noted earlier that the recent WWE tryouts at NXT in Florida were described as extremely physical and very grueling. Besides the names already mentioned, others who participated include former WWE star Shawn "Gavin" Spears, former TNA star Jesse Neal, independent wrestler Nathan Banner and former NFL player Lorenzo Hood.
PWInsider adds that there were a lot of novice athletes there as well, ones who had contacted WWE with interest in getting signed and trained. A good number of those guys were weeded out over the weekend.
