- In the video above, Kurt Angle spoke to ABC network affiliate WTAE out of Pittsburgh, PA about the International Olympic Committee's decision to drop wrestling from the 2020 Olympic Games.
- Angle also discussed the controversial move with ContactMusic.com. During the interview, Angle discussed how the decision affects pro wrestling.
"Let's say a WWE superstar like Jack Swagger - an All-American [wrestler] in college," Angle said. "They don't really bring it up that much ... There's a big difference between being a wrestler in college and an Olympic gold medalist. The promotion is so much bigger - not only do they get more money, but the company obviously gets a lot more promotion out of it."
