New WWE Wrestler Comments On Signing, Miz Talks Football, Latest Wrestling Inc. Weekly (Audio)

- The Miz was recently interviewed by 4th & Pain, hosted by Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker and Chuck Carroll. During the interview he took a shot at Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo who just signed a six-year, $108 million contract.

"Tony Romo will definitely get you some (fantasy) points. Granted, he's not going to win you games for the Dallas Cowboys," Miz said.

He also talked a lot about the fantasy football league WWE wrestlers are in and all of his botched waiver-wire moves that doomed him this year. You can watch the interview in the video above.

- We reported last month that Australian wrestler Matt Silva has signed a developmental deal with WWE. The Herald in Australia has an article about Silva, who discussed the signing.

"I'm going in as a newbie, and just wait for a call up to the main roster before I start competing against those guys," said Silva, who was the only one of 85 wrestlers that attended the recent tryouts in Tampa to be offered a contract. "Being the only Australian over there and representing Australia on the biggest wrestling state in the world, I'm looking forward to it."

- Also, a quick note about this week's episode of Wrestling INC. Weekly. Earlier this week, if you tried to play the latest episode, an older episode would play. That problem has been fixed, you can get the full episode on iTunes by clicking here, or on Stitcher below or at this link. In the episode, former WWE Executive and President of MLW (@MLW) Court Bauer (@CourtBauer) and myself (@RajGiri_303) recap last Sunday's WrestleMania pay-per-view and last Monday's RAW, and discuss the Rock's absence from RAW Monday night.
