WWE SmackDown Results: Ziggler Vs. Jericho, Triple H, The Shield, Fandango & More

- The show kicks off with stills from the Triple H – Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania; Triple H returns to SmackDown tonight. Plus... "After stealing the show, how will the new World Champion usher in his title reign?

- We go to a wide shot of the arena in Boston, MA as Lilian Garcia introduces Big E Langston. He comes on the stage and mocks Ricardo Rodriguez as he introduces the new champ, Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler and AJ come out and the three of them get in the ring. Ziggler cuts a promo about winning the title. Ziggler's voice is almost gone as he says he won this title in spite of the fans, not because of them. He is interrupted by Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Zeb says Ziggler should thank Swagger for his title win. Ziggler says Swagger had his shot and he blew it so it's back to the back of the line for him.

Swagger teases getting in the ring but backs off. Zeb says Ziggler should give Swagger what he wants and that he won't wait for long. Zeb and Swagger leave and Ziggler resumes his promo but a limping Alberto Del Rio, in jeans and a sport coat, interrupts on the stage. Del Rio says he is not here to complain but congratulates Ziggler and says he knows what it is like to cash in the Money In The Bank briefcase. He says when his leg heals, Ziggler will be the one complaining. Del Rio leaves.

Ziggler says the next person that interrupts will see why he is the world champion. There is a pause and Ziggler says, "That's what I thought." Chris Jericho's music hits to a huge pop and he tells Ziggler to shut the hell up. Jericho starts an "AJ is crazy" chant and she cries in Ziggler's arms. Jericho says he is the original show-off. Jericho says he talked to Booker T and Ziggler's first match as champion is tonight against him.

- Team Hell No is on their way to the ring as we go to break.

- We see footage of The Undertaker getting interrupted by The Shield on RAW.

- The Prime Time Players do their dance in the ring as we return to the show. Kane and Daniel Bryan are introduced.

Team Hell No vs. The Prime Time Players

Kane starts off with Titus O'Neil and hits him with a clothesline from up top. Darren Young tags in and Kane whips him into the corner and tags Daniel Bryan for some No Kicks. Young takes control for a bit and tags Titus for some double teaming but Kane comes in and hits a chokeslam on Young as Bryan applies the No Lock on Titus and gets the win.

Winners by submission: Team Hell No

The Shield appears on the Titantron and they say that they hope Kane doesn't think they are afraid and that they didn't back down on Monday and they never back down from a fight. Kane gets angry and makes his pyro go off. Kane and Bryan stand tall in the ring. Bryan gets a big pop.

- Triple H is shown in a graphic and the crowd can be heard going wild.

- More stills of WrestleMania are shown to the Victory / Going The Distance instrumental.

- Santino is in the ring as Wade Barrett is introduced.

Wade Barrett vs. Santino

Barrett mule-kicks Santino and he complains that he can't breathe. Barrett gets 2. Santino mounts a comeback and does a split to avoid the Bull Hammer and proceeds with a flurry and gets 2. Santino pulls out the Cobra but Barrett kicks it and hits the Bull Hammer to Santino for the quick win.

- After a break, footage from WrestleMania Axxess is shown and also from the mainstream media coverage of WrestleMania.

- Sheamus interrupts Booker T and Teddy Long in the back. He is upset that Booker overruled his match with Big Show on Monday. Randy Orton shows up and he isn't happy either. Teddy says it was Booker's idea but we all make mistakes. Booker stares at him like he just passed some putrid gas. Booker says they both got Show in a handicap match tonight. They leave as Booker turns to stare at Teddy as Teddy stares ahead into the distance with a slight smile on his face.

- The Bella Twins and Tamina Snuka come to the ring as we go to a commercial.

- The Funkadactyls make their entrance with Kaitlyn as we return.

The Funkadactlys & Kaitlyn vs. The Bella Twins & Tamina Snuka

Tamina starts off strong against Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn hits a spear to Tamina and then one to a Bella and tags Naomi in. Naomi springs in with a crossbody and hits a hurricanrana on the Bella. The other Bella pushes Naomi off the top and things break down on the outside. A Bella covers Naomi for the win.

Winners by pin: The Bellas & Tamina

- The Triple H graphic is shown again to another pop as we go to break.

- More stills from WrestleMania are shown.

- Back in the arena, Triple H's music hits to a thunderous ovation and he comes to the ring in his leather jacket and dark shades, looking like the leader of Aces & 8's. His left arm is bandaged up in black. He says the as*-kicker is back. Before he goes on much further, he is interrupted by 3MB. They surround the ring as Hunter removes his jacket and gets ready.

The Shield's music hits and they come out through the crowd. JBL says it is going to be 6-on-1. The Shield attacks 3MB and they make quick work of them. The Shield turns it's attention back to Hunter but Kane's music hits and he and Daniel Bryan run down to join HHH in the ring as The Shield retreats.

- Booker tries to have words with Teddy in the back as The Big Show interrupts. He says Booker is biased toward him. Show says he has and iron-clad contract and he will leave and won't compete in a handicap match. Booker tells him he'll get his contract so delayed in court that it will get all rusted up. He says Show's match is next. We go to break.

- We're back as Randy Orton makes his entrance with taped ribs. A video recapping the recent history with Orton, Sheamus, and Big Show is shown. Sheamus comes out followed by Big Show.

Handicap Match: Randy Orton & Sheamus vs. The Big Show

Orton starts off with Show and they go back and forth. Big Show gets the first advantage as he hits a side slam and steps on the hurt ribs of Orton. Show continues to strike Randy's ribs. Big Show misses with an elbow off the 2nd rope. Orton makes the tag to Sheamus to a slight pop. Sheamus builds momentum against Big Show.

Big Show hits Sheamus with a spear and lays him out and punches Orton in the ribs. Orton hits the RKO from out of nowhere and Sheamus measures Show for the Brogue Kick which sends Show to the floor. Big Show gets counted out and leaves up the ramp.

Winners by count out: Randy Orton & Sheamus

- Back from a break as we see a replay of what just happened.

- Sheamus and Orton walk and talk in the back. They are stopped for an interview by Renee. Orton leaves to go to the locker room. Sheamus starts to give an interview and says it doesn't matter how big and strong you are. He is run over from behind by Mark Henry as officials check on Sheamus.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Kofi Kingston

Both men are in the ring and Cesaro takes early control. Cesaro starts to yodel and hits an uppercut to Kofi in the corner and gets 2. Kofi starts to build a flurry but Cesaro keeps him in check with a European uppercut for 2. Kofi lands a kick to the head in the corner and goes up top but Cesaro catches him. Kofi counters and hits Trouble in Paradise for the win.

- The RAW Rebound is shown of Ryback and Mark Henry attacking John Cena.

- Fandango's music hits in the arena and he and his dancer dance across the stage. We cut to a couple of separate fans dancing in the crowd. Some people are humming along to the theme. Fandango completes his entrance with that big thing behind him in the ring and his dancer doing a split as we go to break.

- More WrestleMania stills are shown.

- Back in the arena, Fandango and his dancer await at ringside. Dolph Ziggler makes his entrance with AJ and Big E. The gold looks good on Ziggler. Jericho's music hits and he makes his entrance to a nice pop.

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler

They go back and forth and Jericho hits a dropkick off the ropes for 2. AJ provides a distraction from the floor and Ziggler gets a near fall as we go to break.

Back to action as Ziggler is in firm control in the ring. We see that during the break, Fandango attacked Jericho at ringside. Ziggler holds on to a side headlock and does a headstand. Jericho makes it back to his feet and starts hitting tackles. Jericho comes off the top with an axe. Ziggler hits a DDT for 2.

Jericho takes out Big E through the ropes with a dropkick. Jericho hits a splash off the top and gets 2. Ziggler hits a dropkick out of nowhere for 2. More back and forth. Jericho hits the Lionsault for 2. Fandango gets on the apron but Jericho dropkicks him off.

Jericho applies the Walls, Fandango gets on the apron and distracts the ref, Big E gets on the apron and strikes Jericho in the head, Ziggler gets the pin.

Winner by pin: Dolph Ziggler

Jericho hits an Enzuigiri to Big E and takes out Ziggler with a clothesline in the ring. Jericho turns to Fandango but gets laid out with a Zig Zag from behind. Big E hits Jericho with the Big Ending.

Fandango gets in the ring as fans hum his theme. Fandango dances around Jericho and mounts him for strikes. Fandango shakes his finger at Jericho and goes up top for his leg drop on the back of Jericho's head. His dancer brings him a mic and Fandango says his name.
