Source: SLAM! SportsSLAM Sports! has an interview with TNA star Bobby Roode. During the interview, Roode discussed his TNA contract quietly expiring before Lockdown earlier this year.
"Honestly with the TNA situation, a lot of it had to do with the visa paperwork and stuff like that, being a Canadian and having to come and work in the United States," Roode said. "Everything just fell into place very quickly. It wasn't like I was sitting at home for months at a time, stewing and looking for different things to do."
Roode admitted that there were other "opportunities" out there, but said that he wanted to stay with TNA and look towards his future.
"TNA wanted me here bad enough that we were able to work something out quickly," Roode said. "I'm happy for it."
