NXT Star Teasing Joining The Shield?, The Rock Starring In New TV Series, More

- The Rock noted on his Twitter during a Q&A last week that he would be partnering with Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg for an HBO project. Deadline.com reports that HBO has ordered a pilot for a project starring The Rock with Rock, Wahlberg and Steve Levinson serving as executive producers. The half-hour dramedy will look at the lives of athletes - both retired and active - living in Miami, with Rock playing one of the athletes. The pilot will be directed by Peter Berg, who had directed The Rock in The Rundown and his recent Superbowl commercial.
