WWE Superstars Recap (W/ Video): Sandow Vs. Riley, 8 Person Tag Team Action, RAW Highlights

Superstars this week dives straight into the action.

Tons of Funk and The Funkadactyls vs. The Usos and The Bella Twins

Jay and Clay start things off. Clay and Jay dance together in the ring briefly. Jay locks in a waist lock and Clay backs him into the corner. They tie up and Clay pushes Jay to the ropes, followed by a shoulder knockdown. One of the Bellas tags in and calls Clay a loser. Naomi comes in and attacks Bella into the corner. Bella puts her boot up and then kicks Naomi in the thigh. Naomi comes back with a jumping butt bump. Bella tags in Jimmy. Naomi stares him down and then hits him with a hurricanrana. Tensai comes in as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Jimmy chokes Tensai on the ropes. The Bellas double team Tensai via butt bumps to the head while he's on the ropes and he gets up and smiles. Tensai hits Jimmy with a back elbow and asks the Bellas to do it again. He gets on the ropes again and the Bellas bail to the floor. Tensai gets up and walks into a Superkick. Jimmy strikes Tensai multiple times in the corner. He lands a dropkick and Jay comes in. Tensai tries to fight out of the corner, but Jay kicks him multiple times. Jimmy comes in and hits Tensai with the Rikishi butt bump. He then locks Tensai in a headlock.

Tensai fights out, but Jimmy hits a Samoan drop. He goes up top and dives off, but Tensai moves. Tensai tags in Clay, who hits two clotheslines and an exploder Suplex. Clay hits a powerslam, but Jay breaks up the pin attempt. Tensai hits Jay from the ring and Clay lands his slam finisher on Jimmy for the win.

Ryback's promo from the opening of RAW this week is then shown.

The 6 man tag match pitting Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston against The Shield from RAW is shown next.

Alex Riley vs. Damien Sandow

They chain wrestle for a few moments. Sandow gets whipped to the ropes. Riley charges him and Sandow puts a boot up. Riley hits a dropkick and tries to follow up the attack, but Sandow drop toe holds him into the ropes. Sandow delivers forearms to the back of Riley's head while he is on the ropes. Sandow delivers multiple knees to the gut, followed by his somersault Russian leg sweep. Sandow lands the Elbow of Disdain for a near pin fall.

Sandow locks Riley in a submission. Riley fights to his feet and Sandow shoves him to the mat, followed by a series of boot stomps. Sandow locks in a headlock and Riley fights to his feet again. Sandow whips him. Riley ducks a clothesline attempt and hits an elbow. Riley lands a hip toss neckbreaker. Sandow bails to the apron and Riley tosses him inside. He goes up top and leaps towards Sandow, who moves. Riley follows up with a Spinebuster. Riley picks Sandow up on his shoulders and Sandow gets out. Sandow hits the Silencer for the win.

Then, highlights from Paul Heyman's announcement of his new client from RAW is shown, followed by the tail end of Triple H's match to end the show.
