Vince McMahon And CM Punk To Be Featured In WWE Studios Movie

Variety reported today that WWE Studios will team with Warner Bros. to co-produce a Flintstones animated movie. WWE CEO Vince McMahon, CM Punk and John Cena will be amongst the talent to voice themselves in the direct-to-DVD feature as Vince McMagma, CM Punkrock and John Cenastone, respectively.

This isn't the first collaboration between WWE and the legendary cartoon, as Cena has twice been featured on the cover of Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles cereal boxes.

It also isn't the only animated WWE Studios film in production, as we reported last year that Warner Bros. and WWE Studios were co-producing a Scooby-Doo animated movie that will feature voice roles by Triple H, John Cena, Vince McMahon, Kane, The Miz, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Sin Cara and AJ Lee. That movie is expected to be released during WrestleMania season next year.

"WWE is family-friendly entertainment, so partnering with Warner Bros. on a Flintstones-WWE project was a natural extension of our 'Scooby-Doo' deal," said WWE Studios President Michael Luisi. "This new, animated feature allows us to showcase our brand with young fans and loyal Flintstones enthusiasts alike."
