Rob Van Dam Talks About Returning To WWE, Who Knew Before It Was Announced And More

WWE.com recently spoke with Rob Van Dam about his return to the company at next Sunday's Money in the Bank pay-per-view. During the interview, RVD admitted that he called WWE. He also said that he wasn't trying to get a job when he attended the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony earlier this year, but that he was simply there to see his Booker T.

RVD also said that he only knew for sure that he was returning a week before the video package aired at the Payback pay-per-view.

"Triple H was the guy I was talking to," RVD said. "And I sent Booker a text. It wasn't a definite deal until two weeks at the most before the videos started running. Once I got my starting date of Money in the Bank, that made it real."
