- BFG matches announced for the August 8th episode of Impact Wrestling are Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe, Frankie Kazarian vs. Christopher Daniels and Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson.

- TNA reported moments ago that legendary Japanese wrestler The Great Muta was at TNA offices in Nashville, Tennessee earlier today. Muta, who runs the WRESTLE-1 promotion in Japan, met with officials — which included TNA founder Jeff Jarrett — about potential opportunities between his promotion and TNA.

- PWInsider reported today that while no names have been confirmed, there has been lots of talk about TNA signing new talent.
