New WWE Developmental Diva Talks Signing, SummerSlam '97, New Projects For Former Divas

- You can watch SummerSlam '97 in 60 seconds in the video above. The event featured Bret Hart defending his WWF Championship against The Undertaker with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee.

- Former WWE Diva WWE Diva and TNA Knockout Katarina Waters, f.k.a. Katie Lea and Winter, has been cast in the sci-fi web series Tinker as Eldine Herzhaft. The series is currently running a Kickstarter for the pilot, you can donate to the project here.

- Another former WWE Diva, Angela Fong, has been cast as super-heroine Black Tiger in the short film, Black Tiger: Hunter Hunted. The film picks up the story of the eponymous martial arts superheroine just after receiving the mantle. Without much guidance, she begins to struggle between her duties to fight crime in Los Santos and finding balance in her personal life. All the while, she is digging to uncover the truth behind the murder of her father, the prior Black Tiger, as the leads run cold and the opposition becomes deadly. Today Beyond Time, Inc. has launched an Indiegogo Campaign to finance the production of the short, the goal is to raise $50,000 by August 9th. You can donate to the project by clicking here.

- The Irish Independent has an interview with newly signed Irish WWE Diva Rebecca Quin, who started training in Orlando last month. In the interview, Quin discussed signing with WWE.

"It's only the start now, and I can only imagine it will involve a lot of hard work and an enduring training schedule," she said. "I absolutely cannot wait for my matches to begin... I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. It is literally a dream come true. I've written journals all my life, and reading back on them and seeing how much I've wanted this for so many years, it is just unbelievable to think I'm getting a chance."
