WWE NXT Recap: Shield In Action, Neville, Heyman, Mason Ryan, Big E., Zayn Challenges Cesaro

NXT Women's Championship
Paige (c) vs. Summer Rae

They tie up and shove each other around the ring. They chain wrestle briefly and Paige slams Summer to the mat. She slings Summer across the ring by her hair. Paige hits her screaming boot stomps in the corner. Paige goes for a kick, but Summer catches her foot. Summer chokes Paige on the bottom rope. She then pulls Paige into the bottom rope hard.

Summer gets a face buster type thing. Paige battles back with gut shots. Paige lands an arm drag takedown, but Summer counters by locking Paige's head in. Paige backs Summer to the corner and then multiple back elbows to the head. Summer tries to boot Paige, but Paige catches her. Paige drapes Summer's head across the middle rope, goes to the apron and knees her in the face. She tosses Summer back into the ring and hits the Paige Turner for the win.

Winner: Paige

Then, Renee Young is backstage with AJ Lee. Young asks if AJ has a challenger to defend her belt against next week. AJ says it could be anyone. It could be the cameraman, boom guy or even her mom. She says it could be Renee. Renee says no it's not a good idea. Then, Bayley runs up behind AJ and hugs her. AJ turns around slowly and they introduce themselves. Bayley says she was following AJ from her car and locker room and heard her says she needs an opponent. She asks if AJ can wrestle her.

AJ says sure and Bayley says she doesn't know why people call her crazy. She says AJ is awesome. AJ gets all serious and says what did you just call me. Bayley says she thinks AJ is awesome and doesn't know why people call her crazy. She says AJ is making her dream come true and that after she beats AJ maybe they can still be friends because they get along so well.

Bayley then hugs her and AJ has an extremely angry look on her face. It's then announced that Dolph Ziggler will be on NXT next week.

After the commercial break, the commentators show that Emma ran out following the Paige/Summer Rae match and beat down Summer Rae.

The Shield vs. Corey Graves, Adrian Neville and Xavier Woods

Graves and Rollins start stuff out. They tie up and Graves pushes Rollins into the Shield's corner. They tie up again and Graves sends him to the corner again. Graves locks in a waist lock. Rollins fights out. Graves lands a dropkick. Neville comes in. He kicks Rollins in the chest. Neville lands a pair of dropkicks. Woods comes in. He locks in Rollins's arm. Woods lands a hurricanrana. Graves comes in. He goes to work on Rollins's arm. Rollins fights back with strikes and chops. He kicks Graves in the corner.

Rollins charges Graves. Graves moves and charges Rollins. Rollins hits Graves and goes up top. Graves dragon screws him off the top. Reigns and Ambrose pull Rollins out of the ring and Woods and Neville hit them with somersault dives. Back from commercial and Reigns hits Woods with a headbutt. He attacks Woods in the corner. Ambrose comes in and stomps on Woods's fingers. He drops an elbow on Woods and then wrenches his neck. Woods gets to his feet and tags in Graves. Graves hits headshots.

Graves hits a knee to the head. He then hits Ambrose with a chop block to the knee. Graves locks in his 13th Step submission. Rollins forces the break. Reigns comes in and lands a headbutt. He hits Graves with a big bodyslam and then an elbow drop. Rollins comes in and kicks Graves in the side. Rollins hits a knee to the chin. Rollins locks in an inverted key lock. Graves fights to his feet, but Reigns is tagged in. He punches Graves on the mat several times. Reigns rubs Graves's head across the mat and then stomps his back.
