- We begin with a recap of Monday; Cody getting fired and the Triple H power trip.

- There is red carpet in the ring. Hunter, Vickie, and Brad Maddox are in the ring. Superstars are on the stage. (I'm having technical difficulties with my satellite feed.)

RVD speaks up from the stage. He says he gets a vibe that is "not cool, dude." Hunter says he has waited since 2000 to hear RVD call him dude. Ryback is tired of being called a bully. Triple H makes Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler. Triple H says Daniel Bryan's ego is too big to be on the stage. Triple H says Bryan can choose any member of the Shield to face tonight. Orton hits his signature powerslam to shift the momentum. He begins to stomp RVD on the canvas. RVD comes back with a spinning dropkick for 2. Orton takes control back and slows the pace on the mat. Van Dam with a split-legged moonsault for 2.

The action goes to the floor. RVD lays Orton out on the security wall but Orton avoids the kick from in the ring and RVD's leg crashes on the barricade. Orton starts to stomp RVD in the ring. He poses but gets RVD chants. RVD hits the ropes and Orton catches him with a dropkick. Orton tosses RVD to the floor to obviously piped-in "ooohs" from the crowd. We cut to commercial.

Orton is in control in the ring with a headlock as we return to action. RVD comes back with a combination for 2. Orton takes RVD's legs out and rolls him up for 2. Orton with a neckbreaker. Orton with the ropes-DDT. More "fake" fan reactions. Orton coils, RVD kicks him in the head and almost pins him. Rolling Thunder from RVD; he goes up top but misses with the 5-Star. RVD rolls to the floor. Orton chases Ricardo away. Del Rio sends Ricardo into the steel post. RVD dives onto Del Rio from inside the ring. Orton throws RVD into the announce table and hits a DDT from the apron to the floor.

The crowd legitimately chants "this is awesome." Orton hits the RKO for the win.
