ROH TV Recap: Jay Lethal Vs. Adam Cole, Kevin Steen Vs. Brian Kendrick, Taven Vs. Strong
The show opens with a recap of Whitmer's injury at the hands of Bennett last week.

ROH World Championship Tournament
Matt Taven (with Truth Martini and Hoopla Hotties) vs. Roderick Strong

Before the match, Nigel makes Scarlett sit next to him on commentary because she doesn't have a manager's license.

Taven and Strong circle each other. They chain wrestle and Strong locks in Taven's head on the mat. Taven gets out. They circle each other and Taven hits a knee to the gut. Strong lands a dropkick. He chops Taven in several corners. Strong hits a backbreaker. He rams his shoulder into Taven's gut in the corner and then chops him several times. Truth grabs onto Strong's feet. Taven tries to capitalize, but Strong counters with a roll up. Strong lands a dropkick.

Strong hits a vertical Suplex. He knees Taven in the gut and whips him. Taven hangs onto the ropes. Strong charges and gets back dropped to the apron. Strong slams Taven's head into the corner and tries to get back in, but Truth grabs his feet again. Taven lands a kick to the head, sending Strong to the floor. Back from commercial and Taven hits an enziguri. On commentary, Truth gets in Nigel's face. Back in the ring, and Taven moonsaults off the top rope. Strong puts his knees up.

Taven charges Strong in the corner. Strong puts his boots up and chops Taven repeatedly. Strong hits a leaping clothesline. He hits Taven with a leaping knee to the head in the corner. Taven comes back with a kick to the head. Strong back drops a charging Taven and clotheslines him over the top rope. Strong kicks Taven through the ropes. Salizia (I think that's how it's spelled) distracts the ref and Truth hits Strong with the Book of Truth.

Nigel saw what Truth did and confronts him. Strong confronts him too. Taven goes for a big boot to the back of Strong. Nigel pulls Strong out of the way and Taven hits Truth. Strong drops Taven on the apron, tosses him in the ring and gets a near pin fall. Taven reverses a Suplex attempt with a kick to Strong's head. Taven charges Strong in the corner and Strong puts his boots up again. Taven lands another kick to the head.

Taven goes up top and Strong hits a jumping enziguri. He then superplexes Taven off and locks in the Strong Hold. Taven gets to the ropes. Strong tries to keep the attack up, but Taven is able to hit a rope assisted rolling neckbreaker. Taven goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near pin fall. Taven goes for the Climax, but Strong reverses into a pair of backbreakers. Strong hits the Sick Kick and then another huge backbreaker for the win.

Winner: Roderick Strong

ROH World Championship Tournament
Kevin Steen vs. Brian Kendrick

They adhere to the Code of Honor and Kendrick locks in a standing side headlock. He tries for a shoulder knockdown, but Steen doesn't move. Steen eggs Kendrick on to try again, which he does. Steen doesn't move again. Kendrick lands several forearms and gets a roll up. Steen knocks Kendrick down and follows up with a dropkick. Kendrick rolls to the outside. Kendrick gets back inside for a second and then goes back out. Steen follows and chases Kendrick into the ring. Kendrick leaps to the apron and Steen pulls his feet out from under him.

Steen goes for an apron powerbomb, but Kendrick stops it by grabbing the ropes. Steen gets up on the apron and Kendrick hits him with elbows. Steen locks in a sleeper. Kendrick gets out and hits sliced bread #2 on the apron. Back from commercial and Kendrick is in control with a modified camel clutch. Steen gets to his feet and Kendrick locks in a sleeper. Steen backs into the corners to try and fight out, and eventually slams Kendrick to the mat to get out.
