Kurt Angle Challenged By OVW Wrestler, Knockout Wins OVW Title, Ticket Special, Jarrett

- Jeff Jarret wrestled for The Great Muta's Wrestle-1 promotion in Tokyo, Japan over the weekend. Jarrett teamed with Muta and Masakatsu Funaki to defeat Masayuki Kono, Kazma and Ryoji Sai. Jarrett used his guitar towards the end. After the match, Muta thanked Jarrett and asked him to continue working with Wrestle-1. They shook hands and that was it.

- TNA is giving free tickets to US federal employees due to the government shutdown. All US federal employees and military personnel can show their ID's for one free ticket to the October 10th Impact Wrestling tapings in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

- New TNA Knockout Lei'D Tapa won the Ohio Valley Wrestling Women's Title from Hannah Blossom over the weekend.

- Speaking of OVW and TNA, it sounds like Kurt Angle will be working there soon. Jamin Olivencia, who is now the longest reigning OVW Heavyweight Champion, issued a challenge to Angle after successfully defending his title this past weekend.
