- Brian Soscia spoke with WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel, who was promoting Sunday's WWE live event in Philadelphia. During the interview, which you can listen to here, Axel discussed being given the name Michael McGillicutty, if he talks to his Grandfather Larry "the Axe" Henning, being a Paul Heyman guy, being the Godfather of Bray Wyatt's daughter, fantasy football and more. Axel also discussed helping The Rock get ready for his match with John Cena at WrestleMania 28, and said that The Rock would offer him advice after their training sessions.

"After we'd get done training... he would spend time with me, the guy's attention to detail is so amazing to me," Axel said. "He's one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. So to have him take the time to help me, to pick my brain and to figure out what I'm thinking about, that's amazing to me. I was just down there to help him, but he in turn helped me.

"I did the same with Brock Lesnar," Axel continued. "He's [Lesnar] got a whole different mindset when it comes to this business. So for me to get in the ring with both of those guys, and to have them help me... plus now I have Paul Heyman... I'm having the time of my life right now."

- WWE will be presenting a live event Saturday night at 7:30pm at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, RI, followed by an event this Sunday evening at 5pm at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. CM Punk will face Curtis Axel & Paul Heyman in a handicap match at both shows, while World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio will defend his title against The Great Khali. The Wyatt Family, Damien Sandow and Tons of Funk are amongst the names also scheduled to appear. We would appreciate a report for either of these shows, so if you are attending one, please send us a report by clicking here.
