NXT this week opens with a recap of last week's Beat the Clock Challenge. Renee Young, William Regal and Tom Phillips are on commentary.

Yoshi Tatsu comes down to the ring.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Antonio Cesaro

Before the match starts, Cesaro shoves Byron Saxton, who is doing the ring announcing, against the ropes and gets in his face. William Regal leaves commentary and pulls Saxton out of the ring. Cesaro stares Regal down as the bell rings. Tatsu gets a quick roll up off the distraction. He kicks Cesaro in the body and hits several chops. Tatsu bounds off the ropes and goes for what looks like a heel kick, and Cesaro catches him and slams him to the mat. He takes Tatsu to the corner and slams his head into the turnbuckle. Cesaro hits body shots. He lands an uppercut on Tatsu and then gets a Spinebuster.

Cesaro hits the Cesaro Swing and the crowd chants You Are Awesome! Cesaro stares Regal down some more. Cesaro hits a strike to the back of the head and then locks in a rear chin lock. Cesaro stares at Regal and hits Tatsu with the Neutralizer for the win.

Winner: Antonio Cesaro

Then, Devin Taylor is backstage with Bo Dallas. She asks his thoughts on who will win the number one contender match tonight. He says that everyone will be a winner tonight. We get to see a match between two youngsters giving it their all. He says it's like The Voice. The opportunity to face him must be like music to their ears, even if they don't have a chance of beating him.

CJ Parker walks up and sticks his face in front of the camera. Bo says that the champ is talking. Parker says he didn't realize he was harshing his mellow. Dallas asks when the last time he won a match was and calls him Pauly Shore. Parker challenges him to a match and Dallas accepts.

The two lock up and Parker gets a roll up attempt. Bo kicks out and takes out Parker's legs. Dallas lands a trio of elbows to the head and a big clothesline. Bo locks in Parker's head in a cravat. Parker breaks free. He ducks a pair of clotheslines from Bo and hits one of his own. Parker runs, leaps and hits Bo with his knees in the corner. He then hits Bo with a heel kick. Things head back to Devin Taylor again. She is with Emma. Taylor asks for an update on Emma's injury. Emma says she received head injuries from the BFFs, but she will be back in no time. Paige walks up and says it's good she'll be back so that there will be no excuses when they face off for her title. Emma says what excuses and Paige brings up when Emma accidentally hit her. They start getting in each other's face and Emma dances away.

Back from commercial and Natalya walks up to Paige backstage and asks what her problem is. Paige says she's surprised that Natalya is even talking to her now that she is on Total Divas and has her new gang of friends. Natalya says that Paige is off base. Just because she is on Total Divas doesn't mean she doesn't care about being a diva. Paige says that Natalya doesn't care about the Divas or the NXT Women's Championship. Natalya says she is wrong. She says that her and Paige come from a similar background and she didn't forget where she came from. Paige challenges her to a match with the title on the line to prove that she cares about being a diva.
