- As noted earlier, WWE announced that Stephanie McMahon, Michelle D. Wilson and George Barrios were promoted to lead the company in executing strategic growth initiatives, which include "the renegotiation of its four largest television rights agreements, the potential launch of a WWE Network, expansion in key international markets, distribution of content on emerging platforms and new strategic partnerships." With the company also recently announcing the cancellation of Classics on Demand in February 2014, as well as planning an event on January 8 in Las Vegas - the week of the 2014 International CES consumer and electronics trade show - it would appear that a WWE Network announcement is forthcoming, possibly at the event. PWInsider recently reported that a target date for the launch is set for February 24, 2014, the day after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
- Technology Tell has an article here speculating that the WWE event at CES 2014 could be to unveil the Network.
