This week's episode of NXT opens with Tom Phillips, William Regal, and Alex Riley on commentary.

Hunico and Camacho come down to the ring.

NXT Tag Team Championship
The Ascension (c) vs. Hunico and Camacho

Victor and Camacho start off. Camacho strikes Victor into the corner. He whips Victor into the corner and charges. Victor puts a boot up and hits a series of chops and uppercuts. Victor goes for an elbow drop, but Camacho moves. Camacho hits a body slam. Hunico tags in. He drives his boots into Victor's chest. The two exchange chops briefly. Hunico hits a body slam. He knees Victor in the chest. Hunico locks in Victor's head from behind. Victor fights out, but Hunico hits a kick to the gut. He chops Victor against the ropes. Victor slams Hunico's head into the turnbuckle. He hits Hunico with a knee to the face as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and O'Brian has Hunico's head locked in on the mat. He drives Hunico into his corner and repeatedly kicks him in the midsection. Victor tags in and locks in Hunico's head as well. He rubs his forearm against Hunico's head and kicks him in the chest. O'Brian tags in. He stomps Hunico in the corner. O'Brian locks in Hunico's head from behind. Victor tags in and kicks Hunico in the side. He whips Hunico into the corner and hits a back breaker. He locks Hunico's head back in. Hunico gets out. He hits Victor with a powerbomb. O'Brian and Camacho tag in.

Camacho has the hot tag. He hits a pair of clotheslines and a swinging neckbreaker. Camacho hits a back Suplex. He drops a leg on O'Brian and Victor breaks up the pin attempt. Hunico tosses Victor to the outside. Camacho charges O'Brian in the corner. O'Brian moves and hits a full Nelson slam. Camacho tries to tag in Hunico, but Victor pulls Hunico off the apron. O'Brian hits a flapjack. Victor tags in and the Ascension hit the Fall of Man for the win.

Winners and still champions: The Ascension

Lana walks out on the stage and introduces Alexander Rusev.

Alexander Rusev (with Lana) vs. Kassius Ohno

Rusev drives Ohno into the corner. Ohno slips out. Ohno locks in a waist lock. Rusev gets out and kicks Ohno in the corner. He hits Ohno with a strike to the face. Rusev picks Ohno up, sets him on the ropes, and knees him repeatedly. Rusev hits a Samoan drop. He clubs Ohno in the back. Rusev locks in a bear hug. Rusev shoves Ohno against the ropes and hits a forearm to the lower back. Ohno comes back with a rolling elbow. He lands a quick pin attempt on Rusev and dropkicks him in the face. Ohno goes for the pin again. Ohno bounds off the ropes, and Rusev splashes into him in mid air. Alexander Rusev locks in the camel clutch and Ohno taps.

Winner: Alexander Rusev

After the match, Rusev won't break the hold and refs try to pull him off. Lana finally gets up on the apron and says something to him and he drops the hold.

Natalya is shown walking backstage. She sees Bayley and Bayley says she is nervous about her match. Bayley says she hasn't talked to Charlotte yet, and Natalya tells her not to worry about Charlotte. She says she will be in Bayley's corner, and that she is her friend. Bayley hugs her tightly and Natalya tells her to let her breathe as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and what happened between Antonio Cesaro and Byron Saxton last week is shown. Regal says that if Antonio Cesaro has a problem with him, there's no need to take it out on Byron Saxton.
