Coach Says Anderson Silva Will Fight Again, Tito Ortiz Arrested, Miesha Tate To Train Cyborg?

- Anderson Silva's coach, Pedro Rizzo, recently told MMAFighting.com that "The Spider" will return to action. Silva suffered a broken leg in December, but the damage did not include any nerve-related issues.

"Anderson told me, 'I will be back, master. I will be back,'" Rizzo said. "I told him, 'Yeah, you'll be back home to recover and rest,' and he said, 'I will be back, master.' He's a fighter. He has six months to recover, heal and then decide what he's going to do next."

Silva had a steel rod inserted into his leg after delivering a kick that UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman checked during their main event fight. The loss was the second straight for Silva to Weidman.

While Rizzo seemed confident in Silva fighting again if he wants to, he doesn't believe it is a necessity for him to do so.

"He has nothing left to prove inside the Octagon," Rizzo said. "But if he decides to fight again, we will be there to help him."

- Former UFC champion and current Bellator MMA fighter, Tito Ortiz, was arrested early Monday morning in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence after a single car collision.

Ortiz, real name Jacob Christopher Ortiz, was taken into custody around 4 a.m. after his car crashed on the 405 Freeway. According to a report by KTLA, no one was injured in the accident, and Ortiz was transported to the LAPD 77th Division.

Ortiz, who has appeared on previous episodes of TNA Impact Wrestling as part of his agreement with Bellator, has been involved in a nasty legal matter regarding his children with ex-wife Jenna Jameson.

- Speaking of Ortiz, a fighter he represents, Cris Cyborg, is in need of a new training partner. And Miesha Tate appears to be the one.

Ortiz reached out to Tate, a former Strikeforce champion who recently lost to Ronda Rousey for the UFC female bantamweight title, about working with Cyborg on her next fight.

Tate, who sounded unsure about her own fighting future after the loss to Rousey, agreed to help out Cyborg.

Cyborg and Rousey have been battling back and forth in the presses and through social media sites regarding a fight. Cyborg, considered by many to be the top female fighter in the world, signed with Invicta FC after she couldn't come to an agreement with the UFC.
