WWE NXT Recap: Tornado Tag Match, Colin Cassady Vs. Aiden English, Xavier Punished By Kane, More

This week's episode of NXT opens with Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and Alex Riley on commentary.

Summer Rae and Sasha Banks come down to the ring.

Summer Rae (with Sasha Banks) vs. Bayley (with Natalya)

Summer tries to get Bayley to hug her because they're both wearing headbands. Bayley acts like she's going to hug Summer, and instead rips her headband off and throws it on the mat. Summer tries to pick it up and Bayley gets a pin attempt. Summer tries to jump through the ropes to the outside, but Bayley grabs her by the legs. Summer holds on to the ropes and Bayley pulls her backwards onto the mat. Summer crawls to the corner. Bayley approaches and Summer kicks her in the face. Summer slams Bayley's head into the corner, knocking her headband off. She chokes Bayley with her boot. Bayley slams Summer's head into the top turnbuckle. Summer comes back with a kick to the mid section. She spikes Bayley's head to the mat.

Summer chokes Bayley on the center rope with her boot over the back of her head. Summer gets a two count. She wraps Bayley arms around her own throat like a straight jacket. Bayley gets out and knocks Summer down. She hits Summer with a leaping clothesline in the corner, and then a back elbow. Bayley goes up top and jumps off, hitting Summer with another back elbow for a two count. Summer goes for her heel kick, but Bayley dodges and lands a belly to belly for the win.

Winner: Bayley

Devin Taylor is shown backstage with Xavier Woods. Xavier goes yeeeeaaah, episode 200. I'm ready. Devin says that it's actually episode 203, and Xavier says he missed it. He says he'll be back at 300, and goes to leave. Devin stops him and says that Kane is on NXT and wants to address him. Xavier tells him that Truth told him about Kane, and that he can handle whatever they want to throw at him because (he opens his jacket and shows a Dragon Ball Z shirt) he's over 9000. He backs up slowly while drawing out 9000 as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Colin Cassady comes down to the ring angrily.

Colin Cassady vs. Aiden English

Cassady attacks English as soon as the bell rings. He hits multiple huge knees to the gut. He tosses English into the corner and hits strikes and elbows while spelling sawft. He clubs English in the back and gets a two count. Cassady whips English into the corner and leaps at him. English moves, and Cassady's head collides with the top turnbuckle. English hits him in the back of the head and drops multiple forearms on him. English locks in Cassady's head and arm from behind. Cassady fights out and hits a big back body drop. He hits English with a leaping knee to the head and then drops an elbow for a near pin fall. Cassady twice tries to grab English against the ropes, and the ref backs him up. He approaches again, and English kicks him in the leg. English hits the Director's Cut for the win.

Winner: Aiden English

Devin Taylor is backstage with Adrian Neville. She starts asking what it felt like to face Bo Dallas for the title two weeks ago, and Neville's phone rings. He pulls it out of his pocket and says hello, and then looks over and sees Tyler Breeze standing near him. He asks why Breeze is calling him if they're in the same room. Breeze says it's so that he doesn't have to look at Neville's ugo face while he talks to him and his eyeballs won't melt out of his head. Breeze says he's sorry for the Bo Dallas loss with a half smile on his face. They argue about Breeze causing the loss, and Breeze says that the NXT universe deserves a champ that's gorgeous, and that isn't Neville. Neville challenges him to a match next week.
