- While WWE usually takes a few days off from touring before a pay-per-view, they will be running three live events before Sunday's Royal Rumble. John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship headlines Friday's live event at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA, as well as Saturday's live event at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA. Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt in a steel cage is advertised to headline Saturday's live event at the Canton Civic Center in Canton, OH. CM Punk is not scheduled to appear at any of these events.

- The Canton Rep has an interview at this link with Cody Rhodes, who was promoting Saturday's live event in Canton. During the interview, Rhodes discussed his run with the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

"When I started coming into my own, I wanted to remind people what the Intercontinental Championship was," Rhodes said. "I was able to do more with that title than anyone in recent memory has done. To me that is an accolade."

- CM Punk will be appearing at the Wizard World Portland Comic Con this Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. You can get more information or purchase tickets by clicking here.

- Also this Friday, Sheamus will be appearing at the World of Wheels Auto Show from 6pm-8pm in Pittsburgh, PA, the city which will host this Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
