- The UFC took a ton of flak for their FightPass service - especially when the WWE announced a similar digital subscription service that offered all of the organization's pay-per-views. During a media scrum ahead of this weekend's UFC on FOX event, UFC president Dana White was asked whether the UFC is considering offering their pay-per-views along with the rest of the content on FightPass; the UFC boss' answer was emphatic.

"No," he said. "I heard all the same s*** that you heard. 'Oh, WWE's putting 'em all on there.' That's not what this is. Basically, we have our pay-per-view business, we have our deal with FOX, and then this is the key to the entire library - and other stuff. We have original programming that we're going to create on FightPass and we're going after other stuff too that I think will interest a lot of the fans."

- Recently crowned UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis was sidelined shortly after defeating Benson Henderson to win the belt. While training to make his first title defense against Josh Thomson, Pettis suffered a knee injury that forced him out of the planned bout. Pettis had surgery to repair the injury last November and, at the time, it was unclear exactly when he'd be able to return to action. With almost two months of rehab now under his belt, the 26-year-old believes he'll be well enough to compete at the UFC's July 5th event in Las Vegas.
