TNA Impact Recap With Video: Magnus Defends Against Gunner, Rayne Vs. Kim Street Fight, More

This week's episode of Impact opens with a recap of Gunner winning Feast or Fired. Mike Tenay and Taz are on commentary.

Dixie and her cronies are backstage. Dixie tries to convince Magnus to go out and make an announcement. They head out to the ring.

Magnus picks up a mic and calls MVP down to the ring for the announcement. MVP comes out. Magnus tells him that he is the champion. People who glorify criminal conduct don't impress him. He promises MVP that if he gets in the ring with him, his time in prison would be nothing compared to it. Magnus tells MVP if he steps out of line with him, he will make an example of him.

MVP tells Magnus he knows he is the champ because he's constantly saying it. He says a real champion doesn't have to do that because people do it already. MVP asks for an answer about his Lethal Lockdown challenge. Magnus tells MVP on behalf of TNA president Dixie Carter, they accept his challenge, however he will not be in that match as team captain. Instead, he will be defending his title against Samoa Joe.

MVP asks why Magnus is going to look right through Gunner. He calls him a legit badass, and Magnus says he is the legit badass. Magnus tells MVP he is going to make him his b-atch. MVP attacks him and strikes him in the corner.

Ethan Carter runs out and attacks MVP. He and Magnus start double teaming Magnus, and a shot is shown backstage of security blocking the Wolves from running to ringside. The Wolves break through security. Gunner runs down to the ring and sends Magnus from the ring.

The Wolves approach Magnus and Carter from behind. Magnus takes off, and Davey Richards takes out Carter with a kick.

Then, the feud between Dixie Carter and Bobby Roode is recapped. Bobby Roode arrives at the arena and is asked about his future, and he says he will address it in the ring.

Back from commercial and Ethan Carter angrily approaches Magnus backstage and calls him out for feeding him to the Wolves. Magnus tells him to do what's right. Carter gets really sarcastic and says he'll do it before leaving.

Then, Samoa Joe is in the ring. He talks about how he doesn't have an opponent tonight. He came to Manchester to get into a fight. He calls out any resident of Dixieland to fight him. The BroMans' music hits and they come out.

They surround the ring, and Joe asks which one it's going to be. He says why not all three.

Handicap Match
Samoa Joe vs. The BroMans and Zema Ion

Joe attacks everyone. Eventually the numbers overcome him and the BroMans easily subdue Joe. Joe tries to fight back with strikes, but the heels quickly overcome him again. Zema goes up top for a dropkick, but Joe moves and Zema takes out the BroMans. He sends Zema outside and then hits a combo DDT/Russian leg sweep on Godderz and Robbie. He takes them out with a suicide dive to the outside. Back in the ring, he sets Zema up top and hits the muscle buster. Joe locks in the rear naked choke, and Zema taps.

Winner: Samoa Joe
